"It's been bout four hours since the first phase began, from what I remember we should be getting to the stairs part" you say unconcerned as Gon and killua keep talking, not bothered by what you said

"People really are dropping like flies, this might just be a small group getting to the second phase" kurapika whispers to you as you nod your head, looking around to see most rookies falling or just stopping

"Where'd Leorio go?" You question as Gon stops, you and killua stopping with him as you raise an eyebrow looking behind you

Leorio panting heavily as he squat's, his suitcase behind him being forgot as he looks like death himself

"Rookies almost never pass, what a shame" you say before going on your heel, trying to walk away before you realize Gon isn't moving

"Hey, forget about him, you've got to keep moving." Killua says as you stand behind them confused, seeing Gon just looking at Leorio as you sigh

"He's a lost cause Gon, we need to rejoin the group" you say grabbing his shoulder but he doesn't budge, just giving Leorio a serious look

You and killua look on confused before Leorio growls, surprising you as he runs like a madman

"Man screw this! I'm becoming a hunter no matter what!"

He runs past you three fast as you almost fall to the ground shocked, Gon giving a big smile as he flings his fishing rod to get Leorio case

Killua looking on smiling as Gon gives a sheepish look, you shaking your head to get together as you start to run

"That's was awesome!"

You three start to run again as the boys talk about there items, you still looking at Gon surprised before you smile at the,

"Maybe I've over judged them."

You three now run mostly in the middle as you talk with killua about tricks, looking ahead of you as you point

"Told you the stairs are here" you say smiling as Gon and killua run up them, Gon laughing at this as killua raises an eyebrow

"How do you always know what's ahead?" He ask as you shrugg, patting gons head as you run up ahead

"I only know this part! I'll see you two later!" You say quickly running up the stairs as Gon gasp, saying something but your already gone

"Where is kurapika and Leorio?" You question as you pass by most people, finally spotting them at the front as you run up behind the them

"The scarlet eyes."

You stop trying to chase them as your eyes widen, hearing those words pop out of kurapikas mouth as you wait behind them listening

"That's why the Kurta clan was targeted for it, The scarlet eyes are a special trait possessed only by the Kurta"

"When they are in high emotion, there eyes change into a scarlet color. One of the seven most beautiful colors in the world.." you say to yourself as you watch Leorio look at kurapika

The teen having a serious look on his face as "I swear on my life that I will capture the phantom troupe. Once I do, I'll avenge my clan by taking back their eyes."

"That why you want to be a hunter?" You ask running next to them as they look at you, kurapika having a surprised look on his face as Leorio scoffs

"If you become a contract hunter with a wealthy clientele then you just might succeed, they have access to all the black market information in this world" you say looking at kurapika as the man just stares at you
