"As dawn breaks, the airship carrying Gon and his friends approached its destination."

"The third phase of the hunter exam is about to begin."

You and kurapika gather your stuff, the morning breaking in through the closed door as you head Leorio yawn, the P.A system screeching as mister bean tells the applicants we've arrived at the destination

"How weird... where far behind eight o'clock already" kurapika says seeing Leorio watch, you shrugg at the discovery before you three make your way to the main area, others following behind as the assistant walks you all outside

You stand with everyone else on top of the tower, nothing in sight as you start to worry, you'll be going into the next phases completely blind. Competing like every other applicant now

The train of thought leaves your mind as Mr beans clears his throat, getting everyone's attention as he smiles joyfully

"Everyone, this is the site of the Hunter's Exam's third phase. You'll be competing here at the top of the Trick tower."

"Trick tower?" You mumble, confused at his words as the bean continues unbothered

"In order to pass this phase, you must reach the base of the tower alive. The time limit is 72 hours. And with that, the exams third phase will now begin!"

Gons group quickly looks at each other confused, slowly watching as the air ship leaves, beans voice wishing all of them good luck

"Why do I have a feeling this will end badly?" You whisper, looking over the edge will everyone as Gon gasp amazed

"Are we suppose to climb down?" Leorio says fearfully, holding his suitcase as you don't answer him, making the man even more worried, killua looking on with no concerned

"I hope not that would be suicide.." kurapika finishes, you look at him confused before you realize something, they weren't raised by hunters... there doomed

"Maybe for you guys but me an y/n have this one" Killua says looking down unimpressed, you cant help but nod sighing at the choice. Maybe you and killua could carry them down?

"For most normal guys maybe."

Suddenly a chuckle is heard, the group looking at the applicant as he pops his knuckles cockily, quickly climbing down with ease

"For an expert rock climber like me, this is gonna be a piece of cake." He says grunting as he quickly speeds up, you roll your eyes at the man as he look to the side, heading something flying as Gon watches excited

"Oh wow. Look at how fast he's going!" He says as everyone looks amazed, you crouch down with Gon as you sigh, pointing to the right boredly

"Not for long though."

They all look confused before the see it... the giant head bird creatures coming into view as they gasp, seeing them surround the applicant as he shrieks in horror

Trying to hold on tight before he fails, the creature grabbing him from its mouth as they quickly fly over you, carrying the screaming man away as everyone watches horrified
