A/N: There are several things to expect in this chapter. First, there's a one-year time jump in the story. Second, Astrid, Elsa, and Fiona will give birth to their children. Third, since Mulan failed to nab Hiccup, they're going to be two familiar faces that will try to kidnap Hiccup and not only fail but also be smitten by him. Fourth, and finally, this chapter is going to be about Hiccup having his first orgy with all the women he's with at the moment. Got it? Great, let's get to it!

(Normal pov— Frankia)

After ensuring that his Viking allies in England were provided with enough resources, men, and dragons to help solidify their hold over the Saxon kingdoms and ensure the nobles of those lands wouldn't raise an army to retaliate against the Vikings that now ruled over, Hiccup and his people set sail to Frankia. While at sea, Hiccup had anointed Princess Aud Haraldsdottir as his right hand for the invasion that they would conduct in Paris. Now working closely with the young king, Aud, along with Toka Sinricsdottir would teach Hiccup the Frankish language, tell him of their enemy's strengths and weaknesses, and inform him of the various Viking tribes scattered throughout Frankia. Aside from the Elgring Clan, which was under the command of Toka's uncle, Sigfred, there was still a sizeable amount of Vikings under the Fairhair banner entrenched out there that were awaiting Aud's return, and finally, there was the Draugr Tribe, a horde of Vikings who cover themselves in warpaint while also fight half naked, draped in thick fur cloaks and wear the bones of animals or humans as a means of intimidating their enemies. Armed with the knowledge of seeking new allies and how to deal with the Franks, Hiccup gave the command to set sail to Frankia.

The vast forces of Scandinavians and dragons didn't go unnoticed by the Franks, however, they were met with resistance at every turn, especially when the Scandinavian forces made a beach landing on the shores of Normandy, even with the aid of the dragons, the Franks were armed to the teeth and had knowledge on how to deal with Vikings, especially since the ruler of Paris was a descendant of Rollo Lothbrok. Aud and Toka had warned the young King of Vikings that the Franks were fierce and though they would never measure up to Vikings in battle, they had more... creative ways to deal with their enemies. As the days turned into months, Hiccup and those under his command were neck-deep in battles, blood, and hardships as they pushed to the heart of Frankia— Paris. Not only were they facing hostile forces and foreign territory at every turn, the lands now played host to a horrific plague known as "The Bite," which is a lethal plague that spreads thanks to rats. The Scandinavians found countless Frankish villages and towns were abandoned, half-eaten bodies of humans and livestock alike and they had their first encounter with swarms of rats that sought to devour them, however, the feral rodents were no match for the might of the dragons, and they were forced to flee back underground from which they came.

With many of the Frankish states who hampered the Viking's progress swiftly dealt with by mountain-sized dragons, Hiccup and his people were not afraid to fight head-to-head against those who sought to kill them. Thanks to the knowledge he received of each Frankish duke, Hiccup and his army were able to defeat them slowly but surely, and it would appear that fortune favored them, despite the bloody battles they fought, no Vikings or dragons fell on the battlefield. With each mounting victory over the Franks, Vikings that were entrenched in these lands banded to meet Hiccup and his forces so that they too could exact vengeance against the Franks for all that they had done to them and their families.

The resistance grew so great that the end of the year had already come upon them, they had to sacrifice not celebrating Snoggletog until they reached their new home. Even though they couldn't celebrate their annual winter holiday properly, Hiccup still allowed his people a respite to spend time with their friends, family and loved ones until they were prepared to move on. For the young king, the time had come for him to receive his next heirs from Astrid, Elsa, and Fiona. A small army of midwives had gathered at the king's tent to aid their queens in delivering their children without incidents or accidents. Hearing his women's cries of agony as they were in labor felt as though Hiccup had a knife in his belly and someone was twisting that figurative knife; it was excruciating to watch these women with who he shared his heart and bed with so much pain. But then again, it also showed Hiccup that despite the tears and agony, these women wanted to bless him with many heirs and children so that they too could carry on the Haddock name long after Hiccup himself is dust and bones.
