Chapter 29: Orgy III

(Germany— Dragon Hunter camp)

"You cannot keep me here!"

Struggling against the restraints, Alina Grimborn fruitlessly attempted to free herself, but to no avail. Groaning in pain as the shackles dug into her skin, drawing blood, the young Grimborn stopped for the time being and screeched out once more.

"Do you hear me!? You cannot keep me here!"

Screaming in frustration, Alina smacked the back of her head against the wall of the cell she was in before sinking to the floor. Panting heavily, the young Grimborn knew that she needed to regain herself. Depleting her strength and breath wouldn't help matters, she needed to wait for an opportunity to present itself so that she could escape.

Footsteps filled Alina's ears, and looking up, she laid eyes on Zlobina accompanied by her lover and protege. Sneering at the Dragon Hunters, the young Grimborn spoke with gritted teeth. "If you don't let me out of this cell, I swear to you, I will--"

"I'm going to stop you right there. You will do nothing but be a hostage. If I wanted you dead, I would've fed you to my Deathgrippers the moment you arrived in my camp, but do not mistake your predicament as mercy, you are a hostage, and you will serve your purpose when the time comes," Zlobina stated firmly before smiling. "You will be given food and water and during these acts of mercy, you will be unchained. But if you attempt to escape, I promise you that you will regret it."

Turning to one of her men, Zlonina nodded at them, and they opened the cell door and removed the shackles from Alina's wrists. Another hunter entered with a plate of food and a mug full of water and placed them in the young woman's hands. Sitting down to eat and drink, the young Grimborn watched as Zlobina was about to take her leave. 

"You're not just here for revenge against Hiccup Haddock. But you're here for glory. Am I right?"

Turning to face the young woman, Zlobina smiled dryly. "A conflict the likes of which the world has never seen before will soon reach these shores to wash away the scourge that is the Vikings. They are a plague that should have been eradicated long ago. And the conflict that's coming will guarantee the eradication of all Vikings, whether they are Christian or Pagan." 

"So you and your forces are the vanguard of the greater force that will ravage the Christian kingdoms of Germany?" Zlobina was silent, but her silence was answer enough. Nodding, Alina, took a bite of her food before tilting her head in curiosity. "You and your Dragon Hunters are here to leave the Vikings at a disadvantage by either killing or capturing the dragons under the command of the Night Fury." Snorting softly, Alina shook her head. "Even with your sizable force, even you won't be able to capture or kill all the dragons in the settlement--"

"I don't need to. All I need to is capture the Night Fury. I take him, and all the dragons in that settlement will follow, like sheep to the pen," Zlobina stated. "Once the Vikings are without their precious dragons, the force that comes this way will crush that barbaric, savage race like insects. And when the dust settles, a new world order will arise, and despite wanting to kill all who have associated themselves with my father's killer, I will give you and what remains of your family the opportunity to join me and be part of the new order that will rise up. If not, then you will not live to see another day, and I will see to it personally that your father stays dead." 

With that said, Zlobina left Alina alone to ponder, and the young Grimborn sighed heavily while leaning back against the wall. She needed to find a way out of here and warn Hiccup of Zlobina's intentions here, but also to deal with her and her small army Dragon Hunters and the Viking traitors working alongside them before the inevitable storm of war, blood, and death would wash them away like a tidal wave.
