"Hello, welcome to Sugarcube Corner," I continued as I manned the cash register, "how may I help you?"

"Yes, just give me a sec to figure out what to get," the customer, which was a senior citizen, stated. He lifted his hoof to look at the menu above and to select what he wanted, but than he changed his mind. The senior citizen talked to himself, saying stuff like "na," "nope," "um," "already had that," and "hmm, what should I get?"

I had a forced smile on my face, trying to be as patient as I possibly could be, but its hard when there was a line forming and business was bustling. Just than Pinkie came out from the kitchen, in her usual cheerful mood.

"Is everything alright, Lance?" Pinkie asked as she hopped up and down. Still having my forced smile, I replied to her frustratingly.

"Yes, everything is perfectly fine. Its just that this customer can't seem to make up his mind." I gritted my teeth, trying my best NOT to show my frustration so that I wouldn't get fired.

Pinkie thought for moment before a light bulb appeared over her head. Before the light bulb disappeared, Pinkie grabbed it from above her head, breathed on it, wiped it until it sparkled, and than placed it back over her head. This time the light bulb was shining brighter than ever. My jaw dropped, because I had no idea that Pinkie could do that! Well, like her friends say, you never know what to expect from Pinkie Pie. I've also heard from Rainbow how Pinkie had some sort of senses called 'The Pinkie Sense,' where the ironic pony could sense events before it happened within seconds. I didn't believe it, and I still don't, but you never know it could be true enough.

Pinkie appeared beside the senior citizen out of nowhere and placed her hoof around him, the way friends would do.

"Sir, what you need to try is our newest edition to the menu... Lemon poppy seed muffins!" Pinkie suggested as she at random was holding a muffin. The senior citizen sniffed at it.

"May I?" He asked as he took the muffin.

"Go ahead! It's a free sample!" Pinkie but her lip and waited patiently as the guy took a nibble. His eyes got huge as he looked down at the mini muffin.

"This is delicious!" He exclaimed as he finished the Lemon Poppy Seed Muffin, "I'll take two!"

"Coming right up," I stated as he handed me a couple of bits and I placed them in the cash register and I took the two muffins out from the display case and gave it to the colt. He nodded his head and left, while eating one of the muffins.

"Soooooo...." Pinkie scared the crap out of me when she appeared out of nowhere next to me. I had a mini heart attack.

"So, what?" I asked confused as I took another order and gave the customer chocolate covered strawberries.

"So, how's you and Rainbow Dash going?" I nearly dropped the two Cappuccinos that I was giving to the two mares, who looked taken aback. I swear! Mares always make a big deal out of every little thing like dating. I mean, it's just dating! It's no big deal!

"We're okay," I replied as I turned to face Pinkie when there was no more customers left to serve. Although there was a couple of mares seated near the windows chatting, but as far as that, it was mild.

"Did she like the Cupcake you gave her yesterday?" Pinkie winked.

"Pinkie, why are you making a big deal out of me and Rainbow dating?"

"Because it's love, silly goose," Pinkie replied as she appeared on the other side of me. I jumped a full yard on the other direction.

"Stop doing that," I freaked out.
