1. A Hero, Sort of

Tommy Danger Careful Kraken Innit was a hero.

No, really. For real this time. This was the truth.

Ok, well maybe it was a little bit of a lie, but it was mostly true! Tommy was a hero in training, an apprentice to the Number One Hero, for crying out loud. That had to account for something

So ya. Tommyinnit was a very cool and awesome hero. In training. But details weren’t important here. Tommy had learned a few things under his time as Dream’s apprentice;

Number One: Dream is always right.

Ok, so maybe that wasn’t always true. Tommy was pretty sure Dream was wrong about vigilantes, but that was something Tommy could keep to himself. The vigilantes seemed fairly nice and harmless, no matter how much Dream complained about them being ‘menaces to society.’ But whatever, that was an argument for another day.

Number Two: never reveal your identity to ANYONE

This rule two was just a tad untrue, it turned out. Tommy could show his identity to the other Pro Heroes, and in turn Tommy knew most of their identities. But that was different, they were his team, his family. It was different.

Number Three: when in doubt, blame George.

This was the rule that Tommy was putting to use now.

“I SWEAR TO GOD, TOMATHY INNIT, WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU-“

“It wasn’t me!” Tommy yelped, running down the hall and turning towards the stairs, quickly jumping on the railing and sliding all the way down to the ground floor. He couldn’t resist a whoop as he landed, catching himself with a role and popping back up onto his feet.

The woman at the front desk of the Tower looked up at him, blinked, and looked away with a shrug. She probably didn’t get paid enough to deal with his shit, which Tommy was somewhat grateful for.

“TOMMY!”

Tommy winced as Sapnap’s voice echoed off the far walls of the entry room, vibrating in his head. Tommy turned just in time to see the fire powered hero running down the stairs, his hair on fire (naturally, mind you. Tommy had nothing to do with that). The man had half his hero suit on, but his mask and boots were missing, making him look very strange and mismatched. Tommy would’ve laughed if the sight wasn’t slightly terrifying.

Who was he kidding, Tommy couldn’t help himself.

“You seem to be missing some things, Snapmap,” Tommy pointed out innocently, tilting his head and grinning at the slightly ruffled look of Sapnap’s hair. “Have you asked Gogy?”

“Yes,” Sapnap said slowly, clearly trying to channel his anger. Clearly it wasn’t working. “I have asked George. He told me he saw you hiding my shit earlier today.”

Fucking snitch.

Tommy shrugged, smiling. “Uhhh, surprise?”

“Come here, you little-“

Tommy yelped as Sapnap leapt forwards, pulling him into a headlock and ruffling his hair roughly. Tommy tried to kick him in the shins, but Sapnap just laughed, moving out of the way of his foot with a grin.
