Chapter 17: Is it true

I laid down in Eddies bed next to him. I turned over to him. "I just don't understand how this is even true ." I said softly.

Eddie sat up and looked at me. "I don't either." He said looking at me.

I stood up and walked out to the living room as Eddie followed behind me. Everyone was sitting on the couch. Nancy looked up to me. She motioned for me to walk outside with her. I opened the door and walked out side as she followed me.

Me and her sat down on the steps. The sun was rising already. "He showed me stuff too." She said.

"What did he show you?" I asked curiously.

"He showed me 001. He showed me the young boy grow up. He showed me the boy when he got older. He met a woman. But the woman hurt him bad. Then he turned evil. He killed everyone in that lab. He then showed me him..."She paused. "He showed me him turning into Vecna." She finished.

"What did the man look like?" I asked. I wanted to see if it was the same man my father showed me.

"He had golden brown hair. Umm... Blue eyes. He was very tall and slim." She said looking at me.

"That was him. That was my dad." I told her. My mom broke his heart. That's why he's so mad.

My memory slowly came back. My memory of him raising me in that lab.

"Dad, what's that room?" I asked the tall man standing next to me.

"That's the rainbow room, Never go in there." He said kneeling down in front of me.

"Why?" I asked him looking down at my feet.

"It for the different kids." He said blankly.

A different memory, some time later...

I woke up in my room. I walked outside. I walked next to the rainbow room. I opened the door and stepped foot into the room.

All eyes were on me. So many kids were in that room. My father looked over to me. Once he saw me his eyes widened. He quickly ran over to me and carried me out the room.

"Astrin! You can't go in there! I told you this!" He said loudly at me.

I felt my eyes water. "I'm sorry...I wanted to see what is was!" I said back to him.

He shook his head and looked back up "Don't do it again Astrin." He said to me.

"okay..." I said stopping my tears from coming.

"Promise me?" He asked.

"i promise..." I said quietly.

Present Day.

I stood up walking away from Nancy and into the trailer. "He wasn't lying!" I said I walked through the door.

Everyone looked at me confused.

"Vecna... He is my dad!" I said upset.

"Shit..." Dustin said.

"Okay we need a plan." Nancy said.

I looked over to her. More memories flooded my mind.

"She's special! Just hear me out!" My dad yelled as I was curled up under the table.

"No Peter she's not like you! She's not like them!" My mother yelled back.

"Then how did she do that! If she wasn't special how did that happen?!" He yelled.

I felt my eyes coat with tears as I held my knees to my chest.

"Peter... Stop with this fantasy! She's not like you!" My mother yelled back.

"Stop saying that!" He yelled again.

"No Peter. She's not like you... She's not a monster." She said through her teeth.

"Stop it!" I screamed.

The light bulb next to me shattered. My parents looked over to me.

"You see..." My dad said.

"Peter... I'm taking her. We are going far. She's not going to end up like those kids!" My mom said.

"No! No please. Don't take her from me... You know I can't leave..." My father said tearing up.

"She's not ending up like them Peter!" My mom said as tears streamed down her face.

Present Day

"Plan for what?" I asked Nancy.

"Our plan to kill him. We have to do it fast." She said.

My eyes widened "No you don't know him!" I yelled.

"Astrin, I know he's your dad but he did bad things. He's going to keep doing them unless we stop him." Eddie said grabbing my shoulder.

"By we you mean me." I said. They all looked at me. "Your asking me to kill my dad!" I yelled as my eyes watered up.

"Astrin... It's not going to be easy. But you've seen what he's one!" Nancy exclaimed.

I let my self think before I spoke. He's my father, But he's done bad things. He needs to go down.

"okay..." I said "Let's create this plan."

Short chapter but Ive had burnout from writing and I wanted to get something out.
