I walked over to my door.

"Astrin no." My dad said grabbing my arm. "Hide."

I went into my bathroom so I could listen to what would be said.

I heard my father open the door.

"Is Astrin May here. We have many reports saying she is here." Powell said.

"No. You know what happened to her. I'm just clearing her stuff." My father said pretending a sob.

He should become a actor.

Actually, Maybe not.

"How do you know Astrin?" Powell asked.

"I'm her father!" He said.

More like yelled.

"Sir I understand why your upset but I have many reports saying she's here. I have to check." Powell responded.

"You can't come in." My father said coldly.

"Sir. I have to."

"No you don't! You don't have a warrant! Once you have one come back but until then get off this property!" My father yelled.

The door shut.

"You can come out now they left." He said loudly but not to loud to where anyone from outside could here.

I came out the bathroom. "You got pretty mad huh?" I said closing the bathroom door.

"What can I say. I'm a good actor." He said with a smirk.

"I have to meet up with people. My friends" I said putting air quotes around the word "friends.

"Can I come with? I would like to meet your friends." He asked.

I love that he's actually being a father but I wish he was able to before.

I know it's not his fault but I just wish he was there.

I don't know the whole story on how he turned into that man but he did and he couldn't be there for me.

I just wish I got more time with him when I was a young kid.

It would've helped me out a lot.

"Yes you can come. Just don't do anything stupid. You have to do every thing I say." I told him.

He shook his head yes.

I opened my curtains and looked outside.

The cops where making everyone leave. There's no reason for them to be there. It's in the police's hands now.

Once everyone left me and my father walked outside. We walked in the woods.

Nancys house is where I'm headed. I don't know where my car is so I have to walk.

"How far is it?" My father asked.

"Not too far. About 10 more minutes to walk."

We continued to walk in silence until we reached the woods behind Nancys house.

They were out front about to leave.

Steve made eye contact with me and his eyes widened.

He jumped out the car and ran over to me and Robin followed him.

"How are you here?" Steve asked.

"I never died Steve!" I yelled.

Just being near them makes me mad.
