I Notice

Part 19: Begining of the Middle.

We drove back to Hawkins. I was sitting next to Eddie which made the ride calm. Terrifying but I was calm.

We arrived at the Creel house. Max, Lucas, and Erica were about to leave when I walked over to Max. "Be careful." I said to her. She nodded and walked out the RV and into the Creel house.

We drove off. I took a seat back next to Eddie. He looked over to me. "What was that?" He asked.

"I was telling her to be careful. He's dangerous." I said back while adjusting myself into the seat.

"Max survived before I'm sure she can do it again." He said reassuring me.

I smiled and scooted closer to him. I rested my head on his shoulder.

I'm not ready for this. But I have to be. I can't let Max down. I'm not letting Hawkins down.

After a couple minutes we arrived at Eddies place. We all climbed through the gate.

Eddie and Dustin were going to distract the bats. While me, Steve, Robin, and Nancy made our way into the Creel house.

turn back Astrin.

turn back before it's to late.

I started looking around. Trying to find where it was coming from.

Turn back!

Your going to die!

I continued to look around.

Nows your time to go back!

Astrin go b-

"Astrin!" Steve said loudly. "What are you looking for?" He questioned.

I looked at him confusedly "You don't hear that?" I asked.

"Hear what?" He said more confused.

"Um... Nothing don't worry about it." I responded looking down.

I walked over to Eddie. "Be safe." I said.

"Of course." He said hugging me.

It's to late now Astrin...

I felt my knees lose balance and fall to the ground.

Eddie ran over to me "Astrin." He said as he helped me back to my feet.

I looked to everyone "Sorry I must've lost my balance." I said faking a chuckle.

"Right. Okay ready to go?" Nancy said.

I shook my head yes.

I looked over to Eddie and he gave me a nod.

Me, Nancy, Robin, and Steve all started walking to Creels house.

I walked for what felt like forever feeling my body grow more and more tired with every step I took. I made sure to not step on vines but my vision going blurry made it really hard.

"Nancy..." softly came out of my mouth.

"Yea?" She said looking past Steve and over to me.

I felt my body go completely numb and everything go black.

I felt something shaking me. "Astrin! Wake up!" I heard Steve yell.

I woke up and looked around seeing Steve, Nancy, and Robin. They all sighed in relief.

"You sure you can still do this?" Nancy asked.

I shook my head yes. "Just being in the upside down makes me feel all weird."

We continued walking and I ignored the tiredness coming back onto me. We got to the Creel house and sat by the playground in front of the house. Nancy told everyone else to go into the next phase.

I started to hear music play very distantly. The bat's surrounding the Creel house flew over to the music. Once the bats were all gone we made our way into the house. We walked up the steps and something came over me. A giant amount of tiredness and I fell to the ground.

I could hear everyone else struggling but I couldn't move.

you have to learn Astrin.

I stayed out for a couple more minutes before I woke up. Once I stood up and saw everyone they were coughing and rubbing their throats.

"Y'all okay?" I asked.

They all nodded and we walked into the attic.
