It's been about 11 months since Zac has been in Atlanta and so far he has enjoyed the southerner lifestyle. It's a lot different than the city life up north but still has been fulfilling. Troy is set to graduate in the next couple months and that couldn't make him happier. He's doing all the things Zac never got the chance. Zac sat back and reflected on his life before he moved down south and he does miss the fast money at times but he promised his self to never go back. He has been in contact with some of Troys connects about buying and selling properties and he has became a silent partner with Demetrius who is opening a restaurant, he's making moves and trusting the process.

He stood on his balcony overlooking downtown feeling at peace enjoying the solitude and calmness of his new life when he feels the soft caress across his shoulder. He turns around leans up against the railing of the balcony and smiles.

"Hey you why'd you get out of bed.?" Karen asked

Zac had met Karen and they hit it off after not ever running back into Fatima he figured it just wasn't in the cards. Karen was cool and she was different from the girls back home. Despite his fear of women and letting one in he decided it was time. He couldn't continue going through life without allowing a woman to love him because of how his mother and sister treated him. They've shared their fair amount of arguments because Zac was closed off about what he did for a living. She knew he spent the last three years of his life in prison but she wanted to know what he did down in Atlanta to be able to afford all the things he had. She didn't mind him splurging on her when it came to the money which frustrated Zac most of the time. She would pry and pry until he just shut down and didn't speak.

"I couldn't sleep so I decided to just come out here and nit disturb you."

"Well next time wake me and we can sit together" she said leaning in to kiss him

"I will now that I know I can" he replied lovingly

Zac knew this peace would be short lived by the look on Karen's face. He knew the bullshit was about to begin so he mentally prepared himself for the third degree.

"So Zac are you finally gonna tell me where you get all your money? It's no way you did three years and came out with all this money" she said folding her arms and stepping back.

With a deep sigh he said " why does that matter Karen it's not illegal and it's mine."

"It does matter cuz I'm not dealing with a man that's doin shady shit and end back up in jail I'm not doing that shit never have never will.

"So then don't Karen it's never a problem when I'm buying you jewelry or handbags but it's a problem when I do something for myself."

"You just spent 30,000 and didn't even blink, i know it's drug money Zac and I'm not dealing with that."

"You don't know shit" Zac yelled getting fed up "we go through this shit all the time why can't you just trust that i know how to take care of me im sick of it!"

"Cause you lyin and I know it so either tell me or im done."

"Be done I don't need this shit from you, you're supposed to be my peace and all you do is disrupt it"

Karen stood back thinking this nigga really ain't gon tell me. I've worked to hard to get my business off the ground to have some man I I fell in love with o tear it down by having the law all up in my shit. She had decided if Zac wasn't going to be open then she was ending this today. Zac was trying to give women a fair shot but Karen was proving that all a woman could do was nag and and ask for shit. He was beginning to feel all women did was use him for shit and when they didn't get what they want they would find any little thing to write him off. His sister did it and so did his mom. At that moment he decided that was it for him too.

"Zac im sorry ok I just can't do this I love you...caught off guard by Karen's expression of love he looked confused at her. But I can't allow you to ruin my life." She continued

"Me ruin your life.? Zac asked perplexed IVE DONE NOTHING BUT MAKE YOUR LIFE BETTER.IN THE SHORT  AMOUNT OF TIME WE'VE BEEN TOGETHER SO MISS ME WITH THAT. AND IF I WAS DOING ANYTHING IT WOULD NEVER REACH HOME. SO YOUR FREE TO GO"

Standing there stunned because she finally understood he isn't the type of man to allow anything to happen to the woman he loved. She knew what his charges were but she never knew the reason why. That shouldn't matter Zac felt she should take his word for it when he said he was on the up and up and would never put her life or career in jeopardy.

"Zac I just can't do this and I refuse to be put in any situation that have me left looking stupid, so ima go it was fun while it lasted." She kisses him and he grabs her by the waist knowing that it would be the last time because they just weren't a fit like he thought. He pulled her shorts down and lifted her by her ass with one hand and walked her to the living room. She started to moan he knew just what to do. He bent her over the back of the couch and slid his dick inside. Karen was tight and could barely handle Zac's size but that never stopped her from taking all of him. Ssshhhhhiiittttt she let out a whimper. Zac was stroking hard and slow not wanting to hurt her. That was another thing that made it easy for Zac to leave Karen sex wasn't hittin on shit. "Damn... fuck I'm bout cum" Zac said  with his strokes becoming harder and a more rapid pace. "Aaahhhh shit I'm cummin zac shit baby I'm cummin"  Karen said with her legs goin limp. Before he exploded he pulled out and released himself on her back.

After she showered and packed the things she had at his place she left but before walking out the door she said "I wish things coulda been different you're one of a kind"

"Yea me too, take care of yourself Karen." Zac said

Thinking to himself he felt a little sadness because Karen was the first woman he has ever remotely let in. He quickly shook those feelings and got prepared for his day. His 30th birthday was approaching and Troy and Demetrius had planned him a big party. Zac has met quite a few people and just like in New York they latched on to him. His charm and easy going demeanor made it easy for people to like him. He was excited it was the first time he was every being celebrated by people.

He got dressed and headed out for the day.
