Labor Day

Marcus is home and the Taylor house is packed once again. Chris and Mel are there ain't with Marcus Mariah and Troy. Dre and Jalen have a condo together and have yet to tell his parents. Although Chris has suspected for years he's never been one to push his children until they were absolutely ready. He and Mel both have watched the way Jalen consoled Dre through the entire Marcus situation but decided to stay quiet. Fatima is due anyway now and that has prolonged their stay. Zac is busy with trades and the upcoming draft tonight he has the overall 3rd pick which he is happy about. Murdock and Andi stop by frequently to just check in. They have become a solid and tight knit group. Lately it's been a lot of bloodshed between the three families. The west and Miami boys are now beefing to take over before trying to come for the Taylor-Wilson organization. Zac has ordered a few hits in their rivals and no one suspects it. Everyone's judgement is clouded trying to take his spot. With Mel in the kitchen making lunch and the rest of the family scattered throughout the house Fatima waddles downstairs.

"Hey baby you hungry?" Mel asks Fatima 

"No ma I'm ready to deliver these babies right here" Fatima answered out of breath. At her last appointment both babies were in position she I had been walking working out and actively having sex. She is willing to do anything. The only thing she is happy about is she hasn't gained much weight she's all stomach so her body should bounce back quickly. 

"They'll be out soon sis at least you ain't three weeks past due. Aria said fuck a due date I come when I want" Mariah laughed as she fed Aria 

"I would just die, do you hear me DIIIIIIIEEEEE. It's double the trouble in here"

"That's what we get for playing and wishing twins on me" Mariah said

Zac makes his way downstairs with Troy and Murdock. One is on the phone the other is typing on the iPad and Zac is looking stressed texting. This draft is killing him silently but also exciting. It's inside deals being made and Zac is trying to hold on and not go fr the money. He needs to grab at least two players that will take his team to the next level. 

"You hungry baby?" Fatima ask Zac who without looking up answers as he kissed her.

"Starving gorgeous"

"What bout you" Mariah asked rubbing Troys arm getting his attention 

"Yes baby please anything in this moment will do" Andi walks in from a trial and quickly washes her hands. Mel had a sit down wit all her girls 

Flashback to Mel's speech:

"Listen ladies. I know this may not be the ideal career choice for your men but it's what they have decided and what you have chosen to be a part of. So what if he's late coming home, so what if you are worried. Remember you had the choice to leave at any moment and still do. These are good men. Honorable men doing a not so honorable thing but it's their thing. I see a little of Chris in each of them he has never cheated and he has always been there. He communicates and so do your men. How they provide should never be the issue or what you choose to throw in their faces when you are angry. Be glad they are providing. Mariah don't worry that man with long nights at the office he's an engineer and owns his own company along with making sure he does his part with Zac and the foundation they built. He will be there when he can. Stasha you've been through it all with Demetrius he's a standup guy stop bitching about his every move he has two restaurants and his brother runs the largest drug trade in the south what did you expect. Has he missed a game, doctors appointment or parent teacher conference? "No ma'am" then stop. Andi you have the worst of it Andi get it. His career is demanding enough and then he's a lawyer for a crime boss. You have to keep him grounded don't allow him to push too hard or else the pressure of both worlds become to much and he's forced to choose. Make sure you can do all you can because you have a career too. Just let him know you are there no matter what. Fatima I don't have to say much you've witnessed it first hand. But when that man is stressed don't you go stressing him more about things that you can handle on your own. He has feelings too he isn't always going to communicate that because his Job is to keep that part of his life out of this house. Understand? Fatima nods yes. I said all that to say. Be a wife, woman or girlfriend feed him, nurture him and be there. All of you love comfortable and they have contributed so much to your happiness I hear it whenever either of you speak in them. So remember that it won't always be easy but it'll always be worth it.
