Chapter 24: A fork in the road

"Well, you are looking shiny as never my old friend," Erick greets Fabiano.

"Let's cut the friendly greeting and get down to business, why were you and your people fighting Gusta men?" he asks bluntly. "They are space outlaw, that's what they do. Attacking any easy looking ships that cross their eyes," Erick replied. "Not them, Gusta isn't that type of person to attack so random ship, especially a ship like the Armageddon colony." 

"I feel a bit offended by those words," said Erick slamming his hand on Fabiano shoulder. 

"You should consider yourself lucky that your people don't what any value. Otherwise, Gusta would have destroyed your people years ago. But yet you manage to get in a confrontation with him, why?"

Fabiano stares down Erick. "Let me ask again, did you guys do anything to make Gusta come after you?" 

"Again, no we didn't," Erick repeated himself, this time in a more of a serious tone. Fabiano then walk pass Erick to go to Hollin standing in the back. He also asks him the same question regarding Gusta.

"And what were you doing on a lawless hazardous Planet like Enel anyways?" he asks. "Getting fuel of our ship," Hollin response. "Why choose a planet like that to get fuel?" Fabiano asks. "Got no other choose. 

During the exchange my team and I stumble upon a gang doing shady stuff like the criminals they are. And like the criminals they are they wanted to get rid of us after finding out. Whatever they were doing, Gusta was a part of it. And you know the story from there on out," Hollin explain. 

Fabiano looked unsure about that answer. But he has run into these humans before multiple times already and knows they aren't the type to mess around with high-ranking criminals. 

Before leaving, he told them that Gusta isn't the type to forget a grunge, so be on your guard during your travels from here on out. "What about our punishment for being bad and getting into trouble?" Erick teasingly asks." Whatever you folks do on a lawless planet does not bother me, just as long as you don't cause problems of citizens under the oath of the imperial empire."

Getting back to his ship, Fabiano leaves fast travel. Erick then turns to Hollin. "Ok Hollin my man, what did you get us into?" he asks. "Come to the medical room to find out," replied Hollin before leaving. 

In the medical room, Touka broken arm is wrap in a casket and all her other minor injury is treated.  Same for Shin who is the most injury out of the team. But all his wound is now treated. The doctors also treated the little alien as well, they were hesitant about treating an outside, but after getting the order from Princess Touka they have no other choice. 

"How are you feeling?" he asks. "Better, I guess," the little alien replied. "Is the empire gone?" she asks worrisomely trying to hide herself in the bedsheets, but her injuries ache the moment she moves. "Don't worry we didn't tell them that we are harboring you on the ship," said Hollin stepping into the room along with Erick right behind him. 

Erick orders the doctors to leave the room if they are finish and not to tell anyone about this for the time being. 

The little alien starts to feel nervous seeing Hollin. He looks at her intensely. "Wha... what is it?" she asks softly. "What do you mean, we fulfill the deal, now it is your turn, tell us where Planet Zoan is, are maybe you were lying to us the entire time?" 

"If so, then I wouldn't mind calling back the empire to come get you." Hollin threaten the little alien who is already shaking in her skin. 

"I....I do know of Planet Zoan but, I don't remember where it is," she said. "Thought so," Hollin replied reaching out his hand to grab the little alien. Shin stops him by grabbing his hand. "How many time are you going to stop me?" Hollin asks. "Pinky haven't told us everything yet," said Shin. You are calling her that name again, they take notices.
