Chapter 12: The council

Miss Nickelback drove Touka and Shin to the city hall where the councils are station. After entering the building, they use the elevator to get top floor.  Walking to the only door at the end of the hall. The two guards standing next of the door verify the princess identity. Verifying that it is Princess Touka. The guards greeted their highness before entering a 4 - number code on the security terminal to unlock the multi - lock iron clad door. After opening up completely Touka and Shin enter the room. 

A room completely Shrouded in darkness. It was like standing on a black canvas. But suddenly the black canvas room got fill up with the glitter and glow from the stars and different lighting effects. It was like standing in the middle of the galaxy itself. Four light then appear on each corner of the room. Sitting on a 20 feet chair looking down on them were four elderly men on each chair. The "Armageddon X Colony Council's". Standing up in a military stand, Touka greet the "Great Elders." The elder station at the north of the room specks.

"Princess Touka La Motherland. What is the meaning for your late absent. You were supposed to report to us the moment you came back to the Armageddon X ship?" Touka feeling a bit imitated by the tapping for his finger on the table.

She bows. "I am truly sorry, great elders. But I had to return the dog tags to my fallen comrade to their family first," Touka replied. "First!" the elder replied tensely. Specking next the council located at the east. "Princess, are you saying that the return of the dog tags is more important that giving us the report of what happen on the Armageddon A. Whether or not the secret weapon on the ship is still alive or not. The weapon that can bring great destruction to all if fallen in the wrong hand. You got some nerves." 

"I am truly sorry, but it is only right to condole the ones that lost their lives for the mission. Their family needs closure," Touka replied. West councils spoke to Touka angrily.

"Insolent little girl. Don't you know how dangerous that weapon is, and you prioritize that over something so little!" he shouted. "You are the princess, and you don't even know what to prioritize first after being order to do a mission. Oh, I fear the future of this colony."

 West council nobs his head in shame. "Ha, ha, ha," the south councils laugh. "What is so funny South. Don't you realize the magnitude of the situation?" North asks. "It's you three that I find funny?" South replied. "Ha, ha, ha," he continues to laugh. "Hold your tongue you fool. Take the matter seriously!" the others yelled. South then stop laughing and give them all a stern look. In a serious tone south tells the other that they are the one that need to take the problem more seriously.

Instead of being so worrying about trivial matter like reports or prioritizing. Shouldn't we look at the main dish here. South councils tell Touka to raise her head. "Yes sir."

" Please ignore these old fools and tell me. A week ago, we found the location of the disappearing Armageddon A colony. The Colony that disappeared off our radar 20 years ago without any traces. You as well as a dragon class ship with trained Arsenal soldiers were sent to investigate the ship. Is that correct?" he asks. Yes, that is correct," Touka replied. 

" What about the weapon?" he asks. "Unfortunately, the weapon wasn't alive. The Armageddon A is as well, completely destroyed after fallen into a nearby star." Touka explain. "But you didn't return empty handed did you he." Staring directly at Shin standing in the back.       

 "That man is the survivor of the Armageddon A disappearance. Am I right he?" asks. "Yes sir," she replied. "Young man please step further. What is your name?" South asks. "Shin struggle a bit before Touka answer for him. "Shin La motherland." The councils look shock. " You mean the first prince of the Armageddon A colony. He is alive. How can you be sure that it is really him?" West councils ask. "Doctor Iris La Azura, head of the science and research department have already sent us the results from his test. Looking over the data she found him. His blood does indicate that he is from the royal bloodline," South replied.
