Sophie's POV
After school, I paced around my bedroom. I was trying to figure out what I should say to Keefe. My options so far were to ramble and cry and beg for his forgiveness, or to chicken out and not go.
I decided on the first option. I would be leaving in a few minutes in order to bike to Keefe's house.
I quickly put on a fresh, new outfit (pic below) and grabbed my bike from the garage.
5 Minutes Later----
Soon after, I arrived at Keefe's house. His house was a reddish color with blue trimmings. The house had a cute deck, with porch chairs, a table, and a porch swing. It was a huge house, almost as big as Biana's place. I hesitantly walked up to the door of his house and gave the door a gentle knock.
I stepped back, biting my lip. Secretly, I hoped he wouldn't answer. Then I wouldn't have to deal with the embarrassment of Keefe saying that he hates me.
After a few seconds more of staring at my shoes, the door swung open. Keefe was standing there, looking very cute. As usual.
"Ummm... come on in." He said, interrupting the awkwardness that surrounded us.
I offered him a small smile and stepped inside. Inside, the house was quite plain besides a few beautiful drawings that were hanging on the walls. I glanced at Keefe and walked over to them. The drawings captured landscapes as well as animals and pictures of the Sencen family.
"Who drew these?" I asked.
Keefe flushed lightly and replied. "Me."
My eyes practically popped out of my head. "Really! No way! They are so beautiful."
Keefe looked down and quickly changed the subject. "So. Foster. What did you want to talk about?"
I mentally groaned. I had forgotten I had to actually do this.
I took one look into those ice blue eyes and spilled out the whole story to him.
After a few seconds of silence, Keefe spoke softly. "So... you don't like Fitz."
I nodded as a few small tears started to form.
"And... he forced you to kiss him."
I nodded rapidly. A small smile began to form on Keefe's face.
I decided to actually use my mouth. "I don't like Fitz, I swear. I hate his guts so much... I could punch him to the next galaxy!"
Keefe laughed. "Feisty, huh Foster!"
I smiled back at him. Silence filled the room for another minute. Keefe walked over and plopped into one of the white stools by his kitchen table. I sat in the one next to him when he waved me over.
Keefe looked at me, seriously. "Soooo... what now?"
I tried to force out words and eventually just decided to go for it. "When we kissed at the sleepover, did you feel a.... um, spark?"
Keefe smirked at me. "Hmmm... not sure. I'll have to try it again.. ya know, just to make sure."
Then he leaned in, cupped my cheek, and pressed those lips against mine. This kiss, unlike Fitz's kiss, was just so deep. I loved every second of it. We sat there for minutes, in total peace.
When we broke the kiss, Keefe once again smirked. "Well... Foster, you are quite the kisser."
I blushed.
And this was the exact moment that the door flew open.
