A/N: Guys we are back!!
Sophie's POV
"Soph, I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am!" Biana sighed with happiness. She had just spent half an hour telling me about Dex asking her to the dance. Of course, I was happy for my two friends, but at the same time, I was jealous of Biana already having someone ask her. Keefe still hadn't said anything about the dance.
Biana must have noticed my forced smile. She leaned in and whispered, "Is this about Keefe? Has he not asked you yet?"
I sighed. "He hasn't. Do you think he will?" Doubt was making my stomach churn. Biana shook her head.
"There is no actual way that Keefe wouldn't ask you. He like adores you." She said with a reassuring nod. I smiled gratefully at her as her phone beeped. She looked down and grinned. She looked at me apologetically.
"Sorry Soph, but Dex is looking for me. I'll see you later?" She says, pulling me in for a quick hug before she happily skips off.
I look down at my phone which I didn't even know had buzzed. I had a text from Keefe. It read... "Foster, meet me at our spot." I grinned, knowing exactly where "our spot" was.
I ran to the hallway that I'd been lost in my first day of Foxfire. As I turned the corner, a trail of the red solo cups started. I was so confused until I saw a certain cute boy with tousled blonde hair. He was smirking, holding a sign that said "Don't let me go solo! Dance?" on it. I giggled, feeling the heat rise to my cheeks. People were taking pictures and squealing all around us. I ran up to Keefe, hugging him so tight. I loved this boy.
"Sophie, will you please go to the dance with me?" he whispered in my ear as he gently hugged me back.
"Yes, Keefe, yes!"
Tam's POV
While I've never been the biggest fan of Keefe, his dance proposal had been sweet. I would never admit it to anyone, not even Linh, but I was jealous. It seemed like everyone had dates. Again, I didn't want one. But... still.
After science class, I was walking towards my locker when I spotted Biana and Dex walking down the hallway. They were holding hands. I couldn't even look at them, even when Dex shouted my name and waved. I sighed, leaning against my locker in defeat.
Linh cleared her throat from behind me. She was raising her eyebrows.
I shrugged. "I'm fine," I grumbled, hiding behind my bangs.
"I'm sorry things didn't work out with Biana." my sister said, hugging me. I was about to protest, but instead simply hugged her back.
