Prue huffed as she dangled from the roof, the chains that tied her up cutting into her wrists. What she wouldn't give to have a cheeseburger right now. She shook her head of the thought of food, she needed to figure a way out of this situation, food would not help her right now. Prue waited for but a moment before the two men from earlier this day came into the room. She glared at the men as spoke quietly to one another.
The man with blonde hair smiled brilliantly at her as he spoke. "You are the most beautiful girl we have ever seen," he started as he circled her. "Too bad, we have to ruin that pretty face of yours, if only Voight and his team hadn't stuck their noses into our business." He continued as he grabbed a bat, slamming it into Prue's stomach.
The girl grits her teeth refusing to scream.
"Come on darling scream, we want your daddy to hear you call out to him, see over there, that's a camera, sending this feed to the team right now." The other man said as he came to punch her in the gut. Prue gasped but didn't scream.
She could handle this, this wasn't that bad, she had been snapped, and that felt worse than this, she could survive. She was a hero; this wasn't going to make her break. "You hit like a little girl." She chuckled at the guy, as he sneered at her response, before punching her once more. Prue held the gasp back as she closed her eyes, taking a deep breath in through her nose letting the breath leave her parted lips. "I'd give that a D-, if this was an exam." She crooned with a smirk.
The two men sneered as they continued the beating, Prue refusing to scream. She could do this, she could hold on, she just needed them to leave.
On the other side, Voight was stock still watching his daughter get beaten, he was white as paper, but he was raging. The older man refused to move from the screen, so Erin took over ordering the team to work fast. When the men finally left his daughter, he sighed as she looked up at the camera.
She smirked at the camera, before lifting her legs up, the girl pulling herself up to hang her legs over a pipe, she quickly started loosening the chains on her wrists, and when they were finally free, she flipped herself onto her feet. She ignored the pain as she breathed through her lips harshly. Limping over to the camera she leant down and whispered. "I'm okay, just a little sore, nothing a bit of Tylenol can't fix." She chuckled before spotting her bag. "These guys are stupid." She finished as she grabbed her bag, finding her web slinger. Smirking she placed the devices onto her wrists, flexing her fingers and wrists, she enjoyed the feel of the devices once more.
"I need to protect myself first, then the little guy." She whispered forgetting about the camera.
"What does she mean by that?" Erin asked Voight as the watched the girl become determined, a look in her eyes that worried the pair.
"I don't know, but it worries me," he answered as they watched the young girl go to the door, finding it bolted shut.
Prue huffed before going to her bag once more and pulling out a pen. Well, it wasn't really a pen. "Shuri you badass." She whispered to herself as she grinned manically. Pulling the cap off, she pointed the end of the pen at the door, a laser coming out and cutting the door down. She grinned as it fell to the floor with a loud thud. "Oops." She muttered before running out of the room and down a hall.
She heard the men's feet behind her come pounding, the adrenaline rush was all she needed as she came to a window, opening it. She looked behind herself seeing the two men. "This is the day you will always remember as the day you almost caught Prudence Penelope Voight." She quoted, as she laughed loudly, shooting the web slinger and swinging out of the high building.
She whooped as she swung over Chicago, her beaming smile making her lips split a little bit. She landed in a quiet alleyway, before limping herself to the opening over Gaffney Medical Centre. Walking inside she spotted Will Halstead arguing with Jay.
"Hi Jay!" Prue shouted, catching the two brothers attention, the two seeing the bruised and battered Prue. "Hey Will, you mind patching me up." She huffed before falling back and falling into a dead faint.
Will sped over to the girl as he picked her up and took her into one of the rooms, Jay calling his team about Prue. The medical team started their work on the young girl, as a breathing mask was placed over her face. Will was adamant that it was only him that be her primary doctor. When they cut her shirt open, they were shocked to see the bruising on the young girl's torso and chest. "I need an X-Ray now." Will ordered.
Will grimaced at the sight of the broken ribs. Prue was in a world of pain, how did she even manage to get to the hospital. Sighing he ordered the rest of the nurses to get everything ready. They pushed the young girl out of the room and upstairs, wanting more scans to be done.
When Voight arrived, he went straight to Jay. "They're doing tests now." Jay responded.
Voight walked over to Maggie and spoke to her, needing to know exactly what he was in for. Maggie was gentle calm as she told him what she knew so far, Voight nodded as he remained calm, he wouldn't go off at them, they were doing their jobs.
When Will walked back into the room, he told Voight what Prue had been through, even though he had watched everything that happened to her. "She's got some broken ribs, none pierced her lungs, and she's heavily bruised. She's got stitches in her legs for the cuts, and she'll be in the hospital for a while, but I'm hopeful." Will said to the pair.
"Thanks, Will." Voight said to the Halstead. Will nodded his head as he motioned for them both to follow him.
Walking into the room, they were surprised to see Prue wide awake. "Next time, I'm beating them with a bat," she said with a smirk. Voight scoffed as he came to her side and held her hand. "I'm gonna be okay dad. I'll be okay." She whispered as they held each other's hand. Neither letting the other go.
Prue sighed gently as she let herself relax, her senses calming down quickly. She felt safe, this is where she belonged.
