Aang and Zuko exhaled before bowing to each other once they finished their training for today. The firebender stretched his arms in the air, plopping down in front of the fountain in the courtyard they were practicing in.
"Doesn't it seem kind of weird that we're hiding from the Firelord in his own house?" Katara frowned.
"I told you; my father hasn't come here since our family was actually happy. And that was a long time ago." Zuko explained.
"It's the last place anyone would think to look for us." Sokka then rushed over to them, Suki following suit.
"You guys are not gonna believe this! There's a play about us."
"We were just in town and we found this poster." Suki nodded as Sokka rolled and showed off the poster showing it to the benders.
"What?" Katara walked up to them, inspecting the poster.
"How is that possible?"
"Listen to this." Sokka cleared his throat.
"The Boy In The Iceberg is a new production from acclaimed playwright Puan Tin, who scoured the globe gathering information on the avatar, from the icy south pole to the heart of Ba Sing Se. His sources include singing nomads, pirates, prisoners of war, and a surprisingly knowledgeable merchant of cabbage," Sokka read off of the poster.
"Brought to you by the critically acclaimed Ember Island players." Suki finished. Zuko let out a disgusted groan, earning frowns from the others.
"My mother used to take us to see them. They butchered Love Amongst The Dragons every year." Zuko groaned at the memory.
"Sokka, do you really think it's a good idea for us to attend a play about ourselves?" Katara turned to her brother, an eyebrow raised
"Come on a day at the theatre?" Sokka nodded eagerly.
"This is the kind of whacky time-wasting nonsense I've been missing!" The rest didn't really have a choice in the matter, so they all agreed. The evening came soon enough and Team Avatar found themselves at the theatre.
Luckily, no one sat around or next to them so the six could make all the comments they wanted without having to keep it too down.
Toph, Katara, and Aang sat at the front, while Suki, Sokka, and Zuko sat at the back. Sokka pulled Zuko to lean on him while the man did so without resistance, though Suki only kept her legs propped up on the rest of the bench, having plenty of free space for her legs.
"Why are we sitting in the nosebleed section?" Toph complained.
"My feet can't see a thing from up here!"
"Don't worry, I'll tell your feet what's going on." Katara joked.
The curtains were soon pulled up, revealing two persons in a canoe. And by two persons, two really, really horrid-looking Katara and Sokka.
"Sokka, my only brother, we constantly roam these icy south pole seas, and yet never do we find anything fulfilling" 'Katara' spoke up in a dramatic voice.
"What the actual fuck." Zuko muttered while Katara crinkled her nose in disgust at the dramatic voice.
"All I want is a full feeling in my stomach; I'm starving!" 'Sokka' joked. Laughter erupted in the theatre. Sokka and Katara looked deeply offended, Zuko having to suppress a chuckle at his boyfriend's reaction.
"Is food the only thing on your mind?" 'Katara' raised an eyebrow.
"Well, I'm trying to get it out of my mouth and into my mouth, I'm starving!" 'Sokka' looked out into the crowd while the other people in the crowd laughed, though Sokka cringed at the pathetic joke.
