Lindsay POV:

I felt a hand gently take hold of my shoulder and give it a little shake. I guess I was so tired that I fell asleep on the way home.

"Tesoro, wake up, we are home." Lorenzo told me as I slowly opened my eyes and looked around the SUV. Lorenzo was looking at me, giving me a small smile. Nicolas was still thankfully still sleeping. I would have felt really guilty if I slept through his cries. Antonio, who I had learned when we left the hospital was my husband's personal driver, pulled up to the massive estate that had a combination of gray stone and brick. The front of the house had huge floor to ceiling windows. I could see multiple balconies on the upper levels and there was an oversized wooden door that was at the top of concrete steps. The steps were covered with gigantic distressed beams that peaked in the middle, giving off cozy cottage vibes. It somehow looked great with the stone and brick on the house.

This was unbelievable. I can't believe that I live here. I noticed that there were multiple men and women waiting on the stairs. The ten men were dressed in suits, just like what Lorenzo and his brother wore. The five women wore maids outfits.

Our doors were quickly opened. I looked over at Lorenzo to see him unclicking Nicolas' car seat. I didn't know what to do. He must have sensed my hesitation because he gently said "It's ok, meet me on the stairs. Everyone is excited to see you and meet Nicolas."

"Oh, ok." I hesitantly answered back then I climbed out of the SUV and walked slowly toward the bottom of the stairs with my head down. I didn't want to see everyone looking at me. I was so nervous, I held the diaper bag close to my chest, trying to stop my shaking hands.

Lorenzo and Nicolas approached me and we climbed the stairs together. I kept my eyes on the stairs in front of me, I definitely didn't want to trip and embarrass myself. I could hear the people on the stairs welcoming us home and congratulating us on Nicolas. Even though I didn't look at anyone, it still felt nice to be welcomed home.

The oversized front door was opened for us and with a hand on my lower back, Lorenzo led me into the house. The five women lined up in front of us.

"Tesoro, this is Maria," Lorenzo told me as he approached an older woman and gave her a hug as best he could since he was still holding the car seat
