"Aap dono mere ko aise kyun dekh rahe ho ?" she cutely, asks noticing their facial expressions most importantly eye movement as he was pushing her to start by kicking feet under dining table.
"We need to talk !" after gaining strength, he says grabbing his daughter's attention.
"Yeah, he's right !" she adds on plastering smile it looked immensely pretentious.
"Your unbelievable !" he murmurs, she twists her lips "how can you, expect me to start when I'm so inexperienced in explaining children ?" texts him reading it, raises eyebrow "main hoon na, bol kar palte maar rahe hai ?" her eyes widen "excuse me aise baat bhi nahi hai, us waqt, asaan lag raha tha saamne se kehne mein thode mushkil hoge na" to keep her words, clears throat, to initiate talk.
"Aap chahte ho yeh joh darr itne dino se lag raha hai humse durr jaane ka hamesha ke liye khatum hojaye ?" aditi nods, pouting her lips, she felt her self being scooped up and tightly engulfed by her daddy due to which laughs aloud.
"We have a permanent solution, don't we ?" her pretty orbs twinkle with hope and happiness, as soon as she saw her bestie nod "really, what is it daddy ?" joyfully, questions "kal aap court jakar bol na phir custody, daddy ko mil jayegi" squeal in happiness, didn't know, it was possible.
"Judge, didu ki tarah angel hain ?" naively, asks breaking their hearts "of course, judges listen to kids just like I listen to you" she tries, to feed all which could convince her to tag along without a fear of getting away from them.
"Yay, I will convince them !" claps hand, wish it would have been easier to share bitter reality as he hates lying to his precious daughter ❤️
"Bad mummy, will lose ..." jumps on his lap, he tore apart watching his daughter's happiness, a pair of little arm, came across hugging him, has to stay strong or else his ex-wife, will succeed in ruining their family and contentment.
"You won't lose her !" she whispers, softly their eyes were brimming with painful tears.
"We won't lose her !" he did the correction, she emotionally nods hugging them 🥰
Next day, they were driving towards family court both were extremely nervous and anxious except aditi whose happily going listening to their angel talks, blindly, believing in their conversation due to which both were feeling terrible.
Poor babe, didn't deserve to be fooled but did he or she have any another choice other than giving false hopes convincing her ?
They haven't prepared her for the worst scenario according to their perspective it wouldn't arise as per their lawyer's assurance, wouldn't happen, so why to worry their little munchkin, who deserves to play, study and watch cartoon rather-than pay visit to family court and witness her parents fight for her custody when she wish's to live as per her choice with her loving parent ?
"It's gonna be okay !" she holds hands to provide assurance "I hope so .." her instincts were saying opposite pushing everything aside, went to meet kushal and shefali eagerly, waiting outside.
"I really wanted to be here .." shefali tries to form a sentence "thank you" sidharth appreciates they start discussing legal matters when ananya came smirking with her husband, his rival, competitor in the market "hey aditi beta, can't wait to take u home, right darling ?" staring her husband.
"Of course, she has grown up into a beautiful girl so much like you" arjun compliments, before she could touch aditi ran to shehnaaz hugging her by holding her thighs, irking them.
"Must be according to look wise other than that I assure you, they've nothing in comparison, she is far more beautiful her heart is pure, filled with so much love and care, I wonder, if your wife stands anywhere closer to her ?" shehnaaz taunts, won't lie sidharth loved every bit of her moves to shut .. their filthy mouths .. how protective of her felt so proud to stand by a women who knows how to be there like a shield even if she hasn't given birth to her which proves heart connections are far better purer and deeper than blood relations.
"How dare you ?" ananya loses it, arjun seems to be quiet impressed by her attacking nature backs his wife towards himself.
"Durr raho mere didu se !" aditi yells, dilating her orbs in extreme anger and hatred literally scaring off her namesake mom.
"Mil gaya jawaab, baake ka court ke andar ke liye bacha ke rakho" sidharth says walking inside, his hands were held by both aditi and shehnaaz gave so much closer to family vibes envying ananya as well as arjun who want to destroy him.
The hearing started with lawyers, presenting the case from both the sides where kushal gave them information about her decision to abort child for the sake of divorce and over sidharth's insistence chose to keep the girl or else badly, wanted to get rid of it after giving birth ananya left aditi but on being asked, denies to accept their allegation.
To prove herself innocent, cooks up another lie a story, to fool others that she was force to leave "I was constantly being tortured by him believe me he was going through bad time, his business was destroyed .. he use to torture me, I had no choice but to get rid of a toxic man like him, he couldn't handle a downfall .. he was jealous of his friend I took divorce to earn freedom he use to blackmail me being all alone and helpless, decided to leave my daughter ... I am back to earn her custody, as now I am not alone, I have a man to fight back if he does anything to blackmail me" to few people it felt so real as her lawyer presents, fake reports of her taking depression pills during that time, it looked so real that sidharth couldn't prove many so called men from business world came with lot of stories to prove he had anger issues hiding the facts why did they have fights which were mostly initiated by her ?
He didn't have any to prove her guilty while she had so many fake ones planted "It doesn't mean you were saint or wanted to keep my daughter !" shouts, losing cool due to which judge asks him to calm down he is eventually proving her right.
