"What's happening ?" asks nervously, predicting something beyond imagination "I was away with her to plan something special, before expressing my heart out, I really wanted to know her choice decision cause I couldn't ask your hand with-out my daughter's approval" she could feel her heart throbbing with every passing second.
"So, did she approve me ?" she asks, grinning as it was quiet obvious to guess, yet wished to hear from his god damn mouth, therefore insisted he looked down once before glaring back towards a very restless and impatient shehnaaz.
"Come on, daddy !" aditi cutely, pushes sidharth.
Doesn't know, why all of a sudden feels like those typical college going boy, shying away from being expressive sighing took a deep breath "I lost hope in love, my past experiences made me harsh to an extent I couldn't tolerate a humble person like u I just wanted you to disappear from my sight that's why I did things to hurt your ego, but you were so adamant on staying back and looking after her, to be honest, I always thought you were gonna build hatred in my daughter's heart you will snatch her away from me, but I was so stupid cause you kept doing things to bring us closer to each-other !" he says holding back tears and being brutally honest real without any fear or facade.
"You made me realize, how wrong I was to live in pain to hurt my daughter by pushing her away, if it wouldn't have been you, I would have been lost until now struggling to accept truth, escaping the problems like a coward and getting drunk only to avoid harsh reality, she needed me I asked others to look after when it was my responsibility to do I wasn't less than her birth mother, we did same to her have nothing but ruined her childhood" voice cracks as tear rolls down from their eyes both the girls were crying by now, listening to him confess his heart out takes a lot of courage to open up, he could have chosen to do it away far from his little daughter but didn't feel like hiding anything even tho, she would understand less, deserves to know everything why only good side of their story ?
He has committed certain mistakes which cannot be hidden from her too "I can't thank you enough really, what ever you did for us cannot be put into words I will be forever grateful, when I told how I feel for you she couldn't control her emotions you know how I asked her ?" he narrates, she couldn't breath, her heart and mind, became speechless as to how on earth someone could be so loving, pure selfless literally ends up weeping her gut out.
Being selfish, could have chosen to push them in a sacred bond of marriage but she asked him not to enforce anything without her approval.
"I love you shehnaaz, I really do from the bottom of my heart, I love you so much I want to spend a lifetime with you, I want you to be my wife, and a loving mother to my beautiful princess will you .. will you marry me ?" he happily, went down over his knees handing over beautiful bouquet to aditi who very excitedly held and knelt down imitating her dearest daddy pulling out ring in front of her, his lady love, his soon to be wife and her loveliest mommy "will you please, marry him ?" she pouts cutely, making them chuckle.
She nodded, emotionally squatting down to their level "I love you too !" cupping face, utters biting down lower lip, slides in ring "awww, will you be my mommy ?" accepting flowers, tightly hugged.
"I will be honored to be your mommy !" three of them share a tight family hug where he feels too emotional, extremely overwhelmed as there was a time when he had started cursing name family as it never existed in his life similarly aditi hated this word as she yearned all her childhood while growing up watching, craving for parental love a family bond which became a brutal lie, until met someone who taught to believe in love family, as it exists started picturing their's as one hoping it would turn into a beautiful reality ❤️
Meanwhile, shehnaaz never had anybody to love pamper her like a child or even handle her small tantrums after her parents death, fulfilled duties of being an elder sister expected love from karan who wasn't even respectful towards her choices !
"I love you, I love you both I feel so blessed to be part of your lives .. I want to ask something too .. will you be my daughter ?" shehnaaz questions, a bright smile appeared on her adorable face "yeah I would love to aapko pata, main bohut lucky feel kar rahe hoon cause mostly bachaun ko choice hi nahi milta apne mann pasandh mom dhoodne ka lekin god ji ne mujhe diya hai, which means main lucky hoon aur god ji ki sabse favorite bhi" cutely states making them chuckle, she holds their hand by standing in between them dragging upstairs to terrace where his sister had secretly planned date by ordering servants as per aditi's insistence.
"Aditi, bache kahan lekar jarahe ho ?" sidharth is confused as to where she is taking them "ruko na daddy batane se surprise kharab hojayega" made helpless face "surprise, ek aur don't tell me ?!" so excited to what's coming up next as these two are literally dropping bombs one after the other "I've no idea, meri taraf mat dekh meri jaan" her heart skips a beat whenever he calls her life, that too so openly without any fear of being questioned.
"SURPRISE !!!" little munchkin, squeals happily showing them around a dinner date arranged by the help of servants, astonishing them.
"Are you serious ?" his jaw drops, what is she his daughter is scaring him if she is so smart by now he wonders, what will be left to learn when she'll be all grown up to conquer the world.
