JURINE LOOKED UP AT HIM with a flat expression. "Was it really necessary to toss me like a bag of potatoes?"

"Yes, yes it was."

"You can let go of me now." She waited a few moments for him to release her, but Atsumu just stared at her with an expression Jurine didn't have a word for. Why was he looking at her like that?

After several moments of this, he simply sucked in air, replying, "No, I don't think I will."

"Why not?" This guy is annoying the hell out of me.

"Did you forget? I need to get you back for getting me going like that."

"It's not my fault teenage boys are easily excited," she remarked. "You guys are pretty easy to read. You especially."

Atsumu narrowed his eyes. "So you've done something similar to other guys?"

For some reason, Atsumu didn't like hearing that. It annoyed him, actually. But why?

She sighed, about to push him off when he grabbed her wrist and pinned it above her head. Not too tightly, of course, so she could honestly get out at that moment.

"Honestly, what business of it is yours if I have?"

"Call it curiosity. I find it hard to believe the school's Ice Queen would devote herself to associating with the idiots we see every day."

Jurine made a noise with her mouth closed that could resemble a snort. "That is true, since everyone except Nikoru is an idiot." She looked off to the side. "Well, Osamu may be the other exception. He's smart, for the most part."

Atsumu pouted. "What about me?"

"Oh, you're the opposite. You're the King of the Idiots." She smiled cheekily. "I just need to find a crown befitting your pitiful status."

"Ya know, you keep insulting me, but if you keep it up, you're gonna regret it."

Despite her cold response to him, she highly doubted he'd actually do something to harm her; the glasses incident aside. He acted like a douchebag to annoy people, but she could read him like a book. In his case, she could see the setter's habits and could predict his moves if she wanted to.

"Or what?"

Atsumu lowered himself to say something, pressing his free hand by her hip to prop himself up. Unfortunately, the second his hand grazed her hip, Jurine involuntarily let out a low, but still obviously girly squeak, trying to squirm away. She slapped her hand over her mouth with her hand trying to keep the sound from being heard, but she was too slow.

Atsumu's froze, brow drawn together. "What the fuck was that sound?"

"Nothing! Get the fuck off me," she hissed, wrenching her pinned hand out of his hold. But in the next second, he had both of her hands, putting them back above her head.
