"This is Death's place? Looks more vibrant than I was picturing." Lucy landed on a patch of flowers. White sand flew into the air like twinkles in the sky. Auras in the sky swirled into a vortex with whispers filling the vicinity. "If this is where Talai and the others are being kept then at least it wasn't too bad." She wandered through the field and stumbled upon the sandy dunes.
Leviathan stood on the tallest dune with souls flying over him. "I should've known you used me to get here. You tricked Death himself too." He scowled at her.
Lucy stared up at him with her arms crossed. "Sorry, this was the only way I could get to my friend and family. But we're both stuck here for now." She leaped into the air and flew across the area while scouting the sand.
"Hey, I'm not done with you! Get back here!" Leviathan lunged at her when a set of chains latched onto his limbs. He attempted to pull them off when energy forced him down. "Ugh, what is up with these chains?"
"I suppose since you're dead the chains here are impossible to break." Lucy responded. "Maybe someone like me can sever them?" She flew further into the area when the terrain transformed. Clearwater filled the ground where souls were visible swimming in it. Her silver hair flew through the air as she sped through the body of water.
A soul stared up at her a hand reached out of the water. "Save us. Save us." The raspy voice spoke. "We've been trapped for so long with no way out."
Lucy quickly flew higher when she stopped in place. "Sorry, person. I think it's too late for that." She stared at her reflection when a figure emerged."
"Lucy, it's been a while. I can tell that new form of yours is quite strong." Sidus said with a smirk. "I've been wandering in this lake of lost souls for a bit now."
"Sidus, I thought you passed on a while ago! What happened?" Lucy asked.
Sidus shook his head. "I was supposed to move on but Death had other plans. He's a corrupt entity and Senovisa is no better than he is."
"What gave you that idea?" Lucy snickered. "Well, I'm looking for three souls out of how many. They're angels but I haven't seen any since I got here." She glanced over at the water.
"Keep searching further up and you'll find them soon." Sidus chuckled. "Good luck..." He soon disappeared into the water.
Lucy stared ahead where she noticed land covered by clouds. "I'll check there and hope for the best." She rocketed through the sky as memories of the past returned to her.

"It's time to get up, dear. The graduation ceremony is about to begin and we don't want to be late." Clara said with a soft voice. She flicked the lights on when Lucy jumped out of the bed.
"It's already that day!? I'll be dressed in a few minutes!" Lucy rushed over to her closet and retrieved a pair of clothes. Once dressed, she met Lux and Yori in the kitchen. They wore a similar set of clothes as the group hurried outside.
Lux flashed a grin as he laughed. "I can't believe how fast my girls are growing up. Lucy's becoming a seraphim and Yori a cherub. This day couldn't get any better."
Clara nodded to him. "And when we get back I'll cook the best dinner we've had yet." She smiled.
"Congrats, sis! I'm so happy you reached your new rank!" Yori exclaimed.
"Same to you, little sis. Pretty soon I'll be an Archangel and make a name for our family!" Lucy yelled back.
The four soon met with a crowd of angels when a figure approached them. Talai stood before them with a slight grin. Angie bumped into him from behind and waved.
