The space between them fell out of the sky like toy blocks. They shattered and trails of colorful lights rushed in. Images of the past flew by the group while whispers and thoughts echoed out. Areas resembled shards of glass and caused the ground to distort.
"This is what happens when reality becomes unstable. Never thought I'd see it for myself but here we are." Samael sighed to himself. "Metatron and Serenity were right to be scared of what lies beyond our worlds. I'm in no position to do anything but watch at this point." His wings folded as he disappeared into dust particles.
The Creator waved his hand in front of him and a barrier formed. "If such things are possible then new timelines will be made from this. I may have to intervene to bring balance back." He soon vanished as the ripples in space waved through Heaven.
Lucy stumbled over the ground as if an earthquake struck. "Gah, this place is so unstable. I can barely tell what's going on or where we are." She nearly fell to her knees and used her wings to balance herself over the rocky area. A sense of dread washed over her and she clenched her teeth.
"Yes, I'm sure this is all of your history flying through space at this very moment. I can see all the fights and thoughts rushing through my head!" Lucina yelled out. Her body grew distorted and blob-like as bubbles popped between the ripples. She held a hand out to Lucy before darkness enshrouded her.
"What are we going to do now!?" Cheyanne cried out. "I don't know how we will escape this but it's making me sick." She covered her mouth and gagged.
Tex soon leaned onto her and pulled her hat down. "Damn, I need some support or I'm falling on my face!" Her boots scuffed against the ground as she bit down on her lip.
Talai hopped over to them when he stared up at the images. "Ah, crap. I didn't need to get reminded of this. Now I feel high and like shit." He groaned.
"Hey was that when we were in Cinder Horizons? I don't remember seeing this but dang." Ignis stood behind him and stared up at it. "Lucy really shattered your heart that day, huh?"
"Don't remind me! I was an emotional wreck at the time and was acting stupid about everything." Talai hid his face and inhaled.
Yori soon grouped up with them and eyed Lucy in front of the group. "We should stick together and try to get to the others, too." She spotted Spades's group to the left and Hanna's squad to the right.
Lucy stared back and attempted to reach them. "Hold on, guys! I'll be over there when I can—" Her wings quickly flapped open and she leaped across a gap of ripples. A massive hole in space emerged before them and sucked everything in like a vacuum. She landed on an elongated rock and climbed up.
"Big sis!" Yori cried out. She slipped toward the hole before Talai grabbed her. He dug his gauntlet into the ground as it slowly slid against the stone. Ignis wrapped his tail over the gauntlet and buried his feet into the ground as he clenched his jaw. Cheyanne soon hugged him and winced as she strained to hold on.
"This thing is going to drag us all in!" Tex quickly snatched Cheyanne's shirt and planted her boots behind a rock. "Lucy if you can't reach us then come find us or we'll find you!" She lost her balance and fell along with the others. They all disappeared into the hole before it closed up.
Lucy teared up as she snarled. "Where did they go!? Lucina!"
Lucina laughed at her. "Beats me but I know they're in a different timeline than ours. They can be in the past, present, or future."
Hanna balanced himself on a platform. "This isn't good. We have no idea when a hole will appear or where we'll end up in." He held both hands out as the platform rocked back and forth. Sio, along with Gwen, Yuno, Ember, and Skylar helped him balance the platform.
