"Hold it, I can take you all back to Earth if that's what you want?" Verum said. She held a hand to the tophat and slid a finger across the side of it until the hat transformed into a beanie. Her cane swirled over a finger while she tapped it on the ground.
"That won't be necessary, Verum. I'm sure we have a way to get back home." Lucy replied with a grin. "Thanks for the offer though!"
Alister crossed his arms and huffed. "Guess we'll be heading back to our place then. We have to prepare for the next tournament whenever that is." He glanced over at Jinta when Menternus and Visperi joined them.
Jinta soon nodded to him. "We hope your group can make it to the next tournament because this one will be quite the challenge." She chuckled.
"With all the forbidden worlds free to the multiverse, we should have room for more teams." Verum held a monocle to her eye and twisted a knob on it. "Maybe Lucina might join it as a real contender but who knows. Anyway, I'll catch you dears later!" With a short wave, she along with her friends vanished within the monocle.
"Don't worry, Lucy. We can have a small party when we get to Earth." Talai placed a hand on her shoulder and grinned. "Your parents might be there too! It'd be fun to see them hang around for a bit, right?"
Lucy faced him with a slight smile. "Yeah! Seleph must also be there and Ralph, too." She stared up at the Creator and cleared her throat. "But before we do that, there are a couple of things I want to ask you of."
The Creator raised an eyebrow. "Oh, and what might that be?"
"My real mother had a realm for us if we were close to death. I want to visit her place if that's okay?" Lucy soon pointed to Yori. "Same for my sister since we both share that place."
"Okay, I have no issues with that request. You may go see her." The Creator rubbed his hands together before a flash of light emanated.
Yori and Lucy vanished before they found themselves in a grassy field. Flowers covered the ground a small table stood under a tree. A figure faced away from them and their blonde hair caught their attention.
Karina sipped from a cup and set it aside. "My girls, I'm so sorry you had to deal with something so scary. There was nothing I could do but provide a place for you to be safe and even then that was destroyed."
"Mother, there's no need to apologize. We fixed the problem! Nothing else will be in the way for a long while." Lucy chuckled.
"Mhm, we're just glad we get to see you again, too!" Yori exclaimed. She rushed over to her and hugged Karina. Her cheeks pressed up against hers as they cried.
Karina caressed her head and sniffled. "Oh, my little sweetheart. I can't thank you two enough for being so strong." She held a hand out for Lucy. "Come on, I know you want to."
Lucy's face reddened and she hugged the two. "This place will always remain in our hearts like you mother. We promise you that!"
"Goodness, you two make my heart flutter with joy!" Karina gently petted them on the head. "We must spend more time together but you two must be ready to return home. Don't keep your friends waiting now." She smiled. The area suddenly dispersed while the two reappeared with the others.
"Hey, you're back already! Where did you even go?" Ignis asked.
Yori held a finger to her lip. "It was a secret, silly! We should focus on getting back home now!" She yelled.
Lucy held a thumb up to them and grinned. "There's one more thing left to ask before we go. Creator, I need my powers to be weakened a little for my sake?" Her wings folded while she inhaled.
