"What is it now? You going to arrest me or get Death around so we can speak?" Lucina kept both hands behind her head and huffed.
"No, I just want to talk since we can. There's no need to be hostile about everything." Lucy flopped down on a bench and folded her wings. "Care to sit with me?" She patted the open spot.
Lucina dragged herself to the bench. "Fine, we can talk. I can't do much else besides that." Her wings twitched while she exhaled.
Lucy stared into her eyes. "We know each other's history and on a personal level after the constant fighting." Her legs crossed. "You know how I am by now."
"Okay, so what's the point you're trying to make? All the sap you've blabbered about is making me ticked off." Lucina eyed her with a frown.
"My point is we've formed a connection and that's a way to understand each other." Lucy placed a hand on her chest. "Your ways seem evil to most and I want to change that."
Lucina laughed out loud at her. "You want to change my evil ways? How do you intend to do that? Brainwash me like I did your friends?"
Lucy shook her head. "Nah, I'm not going to be evil like you. I noticed you hesitated a few times during the fight so you do have a heart." She stood up from the bench and smiled. "Maybe there's a way for me to make you understand how things are in this world. We could give you a new life!"
"Hold up, I don't get what's going on here but you have to be lying. Those guys said I was never going to see the day of light again once arrested." Lucina flashed a grin. "How could I get a new life if I become a prisoner again?"
"Well, if you're willing to give me a chance then I can work something out. I promise, let me talk to them." Lucy soon approached Hanna and Sio. "Hey, we need to talk."
Sio's eyebrow raised. "What's going on? Is she going to peacefully give up?" He asked.
Lucy scratched her head and cleared her throat. "Look, this may seem like a stretch but please lessen Lucina's sentence. I know she's done so much wrong but I can't let her be locked up."
"L-Lucy! What's gotten over you? She destroyed the entire Nexus ship and killed all our fellow crewmates." Hanna said with a frown.
"And didn't she kill like two of your friends? Surely the others wouldn't approve of this." Gwen added with a scowl.
Lucy fell to her knees and bowed her head. "Please, I understand this seems too much. I am determined to make Lucina a better person and will do anything." She dug her nails into the ground. "Whatever punishment you have for her, I'll take it. We're the same person so it counts, right?"
Lucina glanced over at her and gulped. She's going through so much to prove a point. I don't get why. Her brow furrowed before she groaned.
"Get up off the ground. This is shameful trying to take the blame for an evil monster." Yuno growled.
"Come on, Lucy. How could you get on your knees for her!" Skylar yelled with tears in her eyes.
Ember held a hand to Skylar's head and Yuno's shoulder. "Stop, that's enough. I think we can work something out."
"I agree with this lady. She may have killed Azrael but my group has killed before, too." Spades stepped toward them. He removed his mask and showed his face to them. "If Lucy can bring the good out in Lucina then why not cut down the sentence?"
Sio scoffed at him. "Hah, you think we'll let this slide? I don't think you understand just who we are!"
Hanna placed a hand on his chest. "I trust Lucy can do it but if not then it's a life sentence. This isn't how we normally operate but three of the most wanted criminals are gone." He smiled at her. "I'll cut her some slack since you're my friend."
