Lucifer stretched his wings and leaped off the blimp as he glided toward the entrance. Mephistopheles along with Eblis and Raum followed close behind. The group noticed Hanna's spaceship and several corpses on the ground.
"Hmm, no trumpet this time? I suppose their numbers are running thin like ours." Lucifer scoffed.
"Yes, most of our average soldiers have fallen to the low thousands. The super soldiers are doing well though." Mephistopheles replied.
Eblis pulled on his shirt collar. "So now that we're here. What becomes of this place, sir?"
Lucifer laughed at him. "Our realm! Now listen I want you three to prepare for the next push. Eblis, bring out the transportation, and Raum, you get our weapons out to the remaining soldiers." He waved to them with a grin.
"Right away, lord. They will have the weapons shortly!" Raum yelled. He soon vanished within a hellfire pillar. Eblis followed after with his portal as the blimps closed in.
"About that superweapon, it takes a bit of time to prepare but I will get it ready." Mephistopheles saluted him and hurried off to a blimp from the right of the entrance.
Lucifer crossed his arms and bowed his head. "I bet that ship full of humans is long gone by now. That means we won't have anyone else get in the way." He snorted and strolled through the entrance. When he reached the seventh block, his tail froze in place. Remains of buildings and statues littered the ground. Angels along with demons, humans, and other supernaturals were among the rubble. A few angels left alive scrambled when they spotted him.
So this is what Heaven looks like when a bunch of slackers is left in charge. I would've never gotten this far in previous crusade wars. Lucifer chuckled to himself. A trio of shadows soon approached him when he stopped.
"Sir, we're back after gathering every troop possible from Hell. What do we do now?" Jinn asked.
"Should we scout ahead and inform you of where the head angel is?" Kroni chimed in.
Lucifer faced them with a smirk. "Welcome back, ladies. Ahem, Jinn, I want you to find the injured and start medical aid if possible. Kroni can scout ahead for Samael but don't overstep too much." The two quickly nodded and separated from the group as Scylla remained.
"And me, sir? What should I do?" She asked.
"Find me where Leviathan's daughter and this fallen angel are." Lucifer said before he seated himself on a statue pedestal.
Scylla flashed a grin and hurried over to a stream of water. She dipped her hand into it and closed both eyes. Her ears tickled while the sound of muddled voices reached her.
"I know where they are! Just a block above us but there seem to be some triad angels with them." Scylla frowned.
Lucifer jumped to his feet and glided toward the entrance above them. He flew into the sixth block where a couple of demon soldiers remained. Cameal, along with Haniel and Zadkiel, stood upon a pile of bodies. On the opposite side stood Kiriah with Asmodel and Jehoel. His eyes widened at the sight of them before a large grin formed.
"Well, I wasn't expecting to see six of the nine here but this works for me. I see you've taken out most of my super soldiers." Lucifer laughed.
Kiriah held two fire wheels close. "The devil himself showed up. I'm a bit surprised myself." She narrowed her eyes when Scylla emerged beside him.
Asmodel stood over Lilith and Ignis when he exhaled. "Shame, I was about to put these two out of their misery but it can wait."
"Right, us six against Lucifer." Jehoel joined them. "Let's take him out!" He slashed at the air when holy symbols fired at Lucifer. Kiriah tossed her rings while Asmodel hurled a golden block at him. The three flew at the two when Zadkiel fired a green aura in their direction. Cameal and Haniel joined by adding their beams to the blast.
