Her foot tapped against the concrete rhythmacily as she folded her arms. Blinking slowly as she looked at the group of men whom had blocked the exit of the alley way.

"Move." She commands as she stared at them, her eyes unreadable.

"Well that isn't the way a lady should talk to a man! I think she needs to learn a little lesson fellas~" One of them said slyly. The group inching closer to her.

She held her ground, staring into the eyes of the muscular man in front of her.

"Hey there little lady, a beautiful damsel such as you shouldn't be out alone at this time of night. Little dangerous don't ya think? " He asked his breath reeked of alcohol.

She scrunched her nose at the smell, then replied.

"I don't think it's dangerous at all."

Seemingly angered by her statement he grabbed her by the chin, his face inches from hers.

"Let go of me now, or you'll regret it." She said sharply, her tone threatening.

"Oh you're gonna be a fun one, looks like we got a damsel who needs to be taught about how the world works. " he chuckled turning his head back to his friends.

She raised her fist and hit him with a hard right hook, breaking free of his grasp and moving forward, grabbing his waist and lifting him off his feet and throwing him to the ground, sticking her knee in his back as she held his arm behind his back, pulling it tightly.

"GET OFF ME YOU VERMIN! GUYS GET HER OFF ME! " the drunken man screamed.

His buddies backed up slowly as she turned her head to face them.

"Don't."

With that they nodded and hurried away, leaving their leader at her mercy.

"IF YOU DON'T GET OFF ME I'LL KILL YOU!" he yelled trying to get up.

She chuckled then dug her knee deeper into his back causing him to gasp in pain.

"I think you're the one who needs to be shown how the world works. "

She then leaned down, her mouth right beside his ear.

"I'm no damsel sir." She sneered before sitting up and yanking his arm back quickly, a loud pop and snap sound came from his bone as he screamed in agony.

"You're lucky that's the worst I did." She scoffed as she got up leaving the man to wither in pain alone.

The next day

She yawns as she sprawled out on the crimson couch, arching her back up enjoying the satisfaction of feeling it pop.

"Boss? " came a disembodied voice from behind the door.

"Come in. "

The door opened, one of her higher ups, Jaxton was standing in the door frame.

"Ah, Jaxton. It's nice to see you again, what brings you to my office?" She questioned sitting up, a smile on her face as the tall brunet boy steps aside, two children holding onto each other behind her.

"We have two new orphans boss." Jaxton reported monotonously.

"For the last time, please call me by my name."

"Yes Dan." Jaxton replied with a dip of his head.

"That's better. " She sighed then turned her attention to the children.

"The work of WSF I suppose? " Dan inquired, her gaze not leaving the kids as the younger girl held onto her older brother. They only seemed to be between the ages of 10 and 5.

Jaxton dipped his head, "I witnessed the execution. They were about to take the kids out as well but we intervened. "

"We?" Dan repeated her gaze turning to jaxton. That's when she noticed the blood on him and his clothes.

"Me and Hudson were on patrol when we saw the commotion, we were going to keep patrolling until we saw them trying to get the kids." He explains, "As you already know Hudson had a soft spot for kids, she never could leave a orphan alone. " he added.

"Why are you talking in past tense. " she said standing up, clutching her fists. "You don't mean she's-"

Jaxton dipped his head, this was the only gesture that Dan needed to figure out that Hudson had passed.

"She died a brave death. " Jaxton said comfortingly. Dan shook her head her blue eyes full with anger.

"It may have been brave but it was unnecessary. I'm sick and tired of having to see noble people being cut down by this.. By this-" she snarled holding her tongue since children were around.

"This monster. " she finally said her voice trembling with anger.

"I understand your anger, but there isn't-"

"You don't understand Jaxton. Just take these kids to the safe house, tell Marco and Ana that I want them to find the kids care takers. " Dan ordered as she looked at the floor then to the kids. Her heart twisted in her chest as she saw the blood spatter on their scared faces, their eyes red from crying. She longed to embrace the kids in a tight hug, to try and provide them with the most comfort and warmth she could.

But she had chosen a life that prevented any show of emotions other than anger.

"As you wish Dan. " Jaxton replied with a dip of his head, closing the door behind him as he led the kids away.

Dan stood there, her arms trembling as she pressed her fists into a tight ball, she felt warm tears collect in her eyes, clouding her vision. She wiped them away and sat down taking a deep breath, holding it for a little before letting out a big sigh.

Dan had a very successful life so far, leading a gang wasn't easy nor was it hard. Her gang was situated on the third level of The Walker, a small building with several rooms being lit by lanterns hanging from the ceiling. It had beds, food, water, a luxury down there. She was in absolute command, if she wanted something done it was done. Of course a leader needed to do things herself, it seemed like every day she was losing a comrade. That same idea popped into her head...

"This torture needs to end."

It was time for Dan to act, it was time for her to do what she was born to do. Lead. She looked over to the side of the room, a long polearm with a sharpened blade was there. She stood and picked it up, looking into the weapon before giving it a few spins. With a chuckle, she'd put it back... she'd need it later. Dan grabbed her radio, holding down a button and speaking into it.

"Give me information on gang leaders, anything you can find."

After a few seconds, a muffled and static reply came in. A simple "Yes Bos-Dan!". Dan sat back on her crimson couch, crossing her legs and thinking to herself. Could this crazy idea actually be done?

Within a few minutes her radio sounded as one of her members told her about the different gang leader and the information they had found on them.

A smile spread across her lips as she listened, writing down key details on a pad of paper.

"Thank you Vincent, you've earned yourself a promotion for your hard work. "

"Thank you Dan. " his voice said over the radio before it going quiet.

She hummed to herself as she scribbled notes on the pad of paper, her mind almost thinking too fast for her hands to write. But she did it, and after a few hours work of planning she looked at the paper with a satisfied grin.

Her plan was outlandishly crazy, but so was she.
