Everyone had finally calmed down, and New Zealand was awake, so hooray!
They were now all circled around a coffee table, Uno cards displayed across it. Britain was currently winning, with 3 cards, and the rest of them having more.
Australia had.. 23? America had 7, Canada had 6, and France had 10. Everyone had a suspicion that Britain was eating the cards, so they often gave him stacked plus fours.
Britain at one point got angry and stacked a +4 on a bunch of other +4s, which meant France got +12. She threw an unruly fit, and nearly bit everyone surrounding her, but it turned out fine.
As it turned late, things got stale between the relatives. New Zealand was sitting out the whole time, probably snoozing some more. Although, when everyone was in the kitchen, tired from the war called Uno, they were greeted with food.
"Woah! I didn't know you could cook, Zealand!" America beamed, grabbing a slice of pizza. "It was in the freezer, America.." She muttered.
The American just laughed it off, and Canada seemed grateful for the slice of pizza he received. Although, when his phone started vibrating like all hell, fortunately not ringing, he crept away. When he was in the bathroom, on the floor, with a plate with a slice of pizza on his lap, he was satisfied to answer back.
It was Russia, and he smiled when he saw his friends contact, tapping it and reading the message. It was just the Russian asking what he was up to. He answered with simply 'bathroom pizza', which obviously startled Russia without even doing anything.
Eventually, to prove that he wasn't doing anything odd, he just took a picture of him eating the pizza comically in the bathroom. Canada shared a few laughs through text, and was satisfied. When Russia asked to call him, he got a little nervous.
He had said yes though, so he was now quietly speaking to Russia over the phone. Canada's pizza was long finished now, and only a pissed knock startled him. "CANADA! You've been in the damn bathroom for 42 minutes EXACTLY! Now 42 minutes and 7 seconds!"
"Wh-" The Canadian slumped, and had a confused face. That had to be New Zealand. She was usually passive and silent, but when angry, she was picky about everything. Canada opened the door, slipped past her, and traveled to the kitchen. He apologized to Russia for that disruption. "Sorry about that, Russia." He then put the plate in the sink.
It was around 10PM, so Canada decided to leave. He gave each of his family members a hug, quickly escaping the house before they could drag him into anything else.
As he got into his car, he could feel his happiness get absorbed by his head and its dragging thoughts. He didn't realize how tired he was, and remembered that he still had leftover work from the last meeting that he had to do.
The Canadian drove home in silence, lost in his brain.

Canada shakily grabbed his phone, turning it on and checking the charge. Thankfully, it was at 57 percent charge, so it had some time left. He unlocked it, found his contacts, and immediately called Russia. He waited silently, and was a little surprised when he picked up.
"What." Russia seemed to be annoyed, and Canada understood why. Calling someone at 2AM would be annoying. "So, uhm." His voice trembled, and he had no idea why he was calling Russia besides calling for help.
"Canada? Did something happen.." He heard the Russian on the other side of the line mutter. "Yeahh. What happens when you're 32 miles away from the closest gas station, with absolutely no gas at all, and in some weird ass road you've never seen anyone else travel on?"
"Well, first of all Canada, I say you find a gun and shoot yourself in the arm with it. I would have a better chance of doing that rather than being stuck.." Russia growled, and that didn't help Canada. "Jeez! All I'm doing is asking for help."
"Well, I don't know how!" The Russian hissed, having more attitude than the times they previously spoke with each other. Canada began to spoke, until the most unruly scratching came from right outside the car. The Canadian already was in the leg area right under the wheel, so he was sorta hidden. Although, that didn't stop him from freezing.
He completely stopped breathing, a horrid sense of dread filling him. "Please." He whispered, waiting silently for the sound again, or something to happen.
"Well, if you can give me directions.." He heard Russia mutter. Canada immediately complied, scrambling over to maps and sharing his location in hopes that the Russian would hurry.

Russia opened the front door, about to leave, but someone grabbed him. He twisted around, growling. It was Belarus though, and since she stopped him, it was definitely for a reason. "Where are you going?" Belarus demanded, and the Russian froze up. "Uh.. Not your business."
The Belarusian lady narrowed her eyes, and snatched Russia's hand and dragged him into the living room. The Russian obviously protested, but eventually just let himself get dragged.
In that room, most of his siblings stood, featuring Finland beside Estonia. "Did you call a family meeting or something?" Belarus nodded, clearing her throat. "We are all having a vote on something. Some of us know, example, Kazakhstan."
She gestured towards the bright blue and yellow country. "Some of us do not know, though. Example.. Russia!" She gestured towards him, and he scoffed. Belarus had a small grin on, meaning something bad was destined to happen.
"So, Russia.. we all know you're getting familiar with that soft suck up." She growled, and the Russian was confused for a second. "What do you mean?" He retorted, and Belarus had a challenging look in her eyes.
"Canada. Don't act like you don't know him." Russia visibly shifted, tensing a little. "Finland saw you, so don't think that'll go unexcused." The Russian hissed. "Who cares what Finland says?"
"All of us." Belarus spat. "You bully Estonia, literally our brother and his boyfriend!" He challenged back. "You're the bully here, Russia! All of your actions are inexcusable!" The Belarusian lady narrowed her eyes.
The Russian stood up, prepared to get violent. "Don't pretend like hurting half of this family each night is fine!" He roared, and Belarus growled back.
The two slowly advanced on each other, clearly going to have a physical fight. Suddenly, Belarus knocked him over. She put her hands on Russia's neck, having a ferocious hold on him.
The Russian choked, grappling and shaking his sister. "Off!" He spat, but Belarus didn't budge. "Just listen alright, and then go. No more seeing that sickening Canadian." Her eyes, like a snakes, narrowed once more, and then she stood up.
The Belarusian had already let go of him, and walked off. Russia sat up, watching his family members walk out of the room. Few spared him a glance, let alone a sorry one.
