"We're a mess
you and I,
but the truth is,
you captivate me in ways
no soul ever will"
~ Perry poetry

The cab hastened through the busy tar roads of ECR. With tremendous sea in the east and line ups of numerous IT companies and startups, the place has gained it's own name and value. The gloomy October weather, sprinting palm trees as the car passes along, clear yet moody sky in the colour of cigarette ash accompanied with A.R.Rahman songs blaring from the earphones, all added to elation in Meera's mind.
She leaned on the window of the cab, peeked out a bit and let the soothing breeze touch her face. She usually would avoid traveling in a fully air-conditioned car as it gave motion sickness to her. So, cars with windows down has become a must for her.

The cab gradually stopped near a high raised building. The pale white granite pillars with emerald marble floors, gray walls and a huge shimmering chandelier combined to spell grandeur. Meera's almond eyes enlarged and mouth shaped 'o' for a moment after observing the infrastructure. At the entrance, there was a compilation of enormous letters in gold which read éblouir. She walked towards the reception to meet a blonde, possibly in her late twenties with uplift eyes, full lips and freckles near her button nose.

"Hello, ma'am. How can I help you?"

"Hello, I'm Meera and working as a professor at Royola University. I'm here to meet Mr. Arjun Niro Joel to discuss about the cultural event that is about to happen in our college"

"Do you have an appointment?"

"Hmm, no", said Meera.

"I'm so sorry ma'am. You can't meet him without an appointment"

"You know, it's kinda urgent. I just need 15 minutes to discuss about the event with him"

"Not possible ma'am"

"Urghh, atleast, can I speak to his personal secretary?", asked Meera with a tint of irritation.

"Actually, yes. One second"

After a moment, the blonde resumed her talk. "Yes ma'am, you can meet her. She's at the 17th floor"

"Thank you so much. Besides, where's the way to lift?"

"Straight and last right", exclaimed the receptionist.

With that, Meera marched towards the lift and pressed the 17 button in the lift. Within a fraction of seconds, she reached her destination only to meet a woman in her mid twenties with big doe eyes covered by a cat eye spectacles, pale lips, brunette and a hour glass figure. When she saw Meera, she scrunched her eyebrows to form a knot and asked her, "Yes ma'am, do you need something?"

"Yeah. I'm Meera from Royola University and...."

The brunette interrupted, "Ohh yeah, you're from Royola University. Your principal called me and informed about your arrival"

"Oh but the receptionist told me to get an appointment before meeting the co-ceo?", questioned Meera.

"She must've not been intimidated. Sorry for the inconvenience", replied the latter by letting out a apologizing smile.

"It's ok Ms...?", Meera stretched her sentence.

"Rosa"

"Nice name. Actually I want to meet the co-ceo and discuss regarding his schedule and get approval for printing the hardcopy of invitation"

"Ohh let me check my laptop. Just a second", excused Rosa while partially bending to see the electronic screen in front of her while her spectacles clearly showed the reflection of scattered words and columns.
