It was one of those rare days that Willy spent it without Rose by his side. Rose had promised Charlie some brother and sister time so she took him out for the day. Fleur and Dulce were with Mr and Mrs Bucket, bonding with their grandparents. Willy sat all alone, bored out of his mind in his office. Even if he was sitting around, he didn't get so bored when Rose was with him.
There was no point in sitting around like this. There must be something Willy can do. It's a huge factory, after all. But, whatever he wanted to do, he didn't want to do it alone. Willy sat up straight as an idea popped into his head. The other Buckets must be home. Now that he's thought about it, he's never really had the chance to spend much time with his grandparents. Perhaps they were feeling as lonely as he was today.

Willy approached the Bucket house. It seemed quiet, save for the sound of soft muttering coming from inside, and the running of the chocolate waterfall. Willy knocked on the door and awaited an answer. "It's open!" The voice of Grandpa Joe called out.
Willy opened the door, smiling at his grandparents and greeted them the only way he knew how. "Afternoon, Buckets!"
"Hello, Willy!" All the grandbuckets greeted him. They were all seated at the table, with a puzzle in pieces in front of them. Willy went around hugging them all, with Grandma Georgina hugging him the longest. Willy sat in the empty seat between Josephine and Georgina.
"If you were looking for Rose and Charlie, they aren't home yet" Grandpa George mentioned.
"Actually, I was hoping I could spend time with all of you!" Willy said. The grandbuckets all seemed surprised at what he said and looked at each other. "If that's alright with you all, of course"
Grandma Josephine smiled. "We would love to have you join us!"
Grandpa Joe nodded. "Indeed, we have quite the afternoon planned"
"Yes, which I would like to get to before the sun sets, so let's get to this puzzle please" Grandpa George urged. "Willy, do you know how to complete a puzzle?"
"You have to fit all the pieces together" Willy was all too familiar with how puzzles worked. Sometimes it's all he had to keep himself occupied when he was a child. They all went to work on the puzzle. Between the five of them, it hadn't taken that long for them to complete it. The image on the puzzle was that of ducks in a pond.

"And then you put it under, like this" Grandma Josephine demonstrated to Willy. Right now, Grandma Josephine and Grandma Georgina were teaching Willy how to knit. Meanwhile, Grandpa Joe and Grandpa George were occupying themselves with a game of cards.
"You're getting the hang of this!" Grandma Georgina mentioned to Willy. The man had never knitted a day in his life before, but the scarf he decided to knit for Rose was coming along quite nicely. "Rose will love it!"
