The court case began and Chisom and Tamara were called up as witnesses. Mr. Isime's lawyer tried to use Sienna's issue against them but he was shut down immediately.

The prosecution then talked about Mr. Isime's willingness to harm the public with a medicine that wasn't properly worked on and even going as far to kidnap Chisom and blackmail Somto.

After much evidence presentation, Mr. Isime was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment with hard labour and a fine of 14 million naira and Jaws was sentenced to 21 years imprisonment with hard labour in maximum prison KiriKiri.

The audience erupted in cheers. Somto hugged Chisom happily and in his excitement, hugged mercy who looked stunned.

Tamara and Eric grinned and Jane, Ethan and Sienna celebrated happily. Sienna tightly hugged Ethan and Michael frowned deeply.

Jaws watched all this quietly and narrowed his eyes at everyone of them who celebrated. His gaze lingered on Ethan especially and he smirked ever so slightly.

After the hearing, Sienna walked over to Laura and Bright. "Get ready, you two are next" Sienna said confidently and Laura scoffed in disbelief.

Sienna walked away and went to hug her parents.

"I'm so happy for you Sienna" Amaka said joyfully.

"Me too" Sienna replied.

"Finally, that man will rot in prison just like he deserves for a very long time" Edafe said satisfied and Sienna smiled.

Michael and Nnenna watched Sienna talking to her parents and walked towards her but Ethan swiftly blocked their way.

"Mom, Dad, what are you doing here?" Ethan asked frantic.

"We came to see how the final hearing would go" Michael stiffly answered and looked behind Ethan. "so you haven't told her anything."

"Dad..." Ethan said stressed.

"Don't worry, we will tell her now" Nnenna said determined.

"No!" Ethan said loudly surprising his parents and some bystanders. Eric saw this and furrowed his brows.

"Let's talk somewhere else" Ethan quickly said, looking back at Sienna. He ushered his parents away and Eric followed them curiously.

"Ethan!" Nnenna shouted after Ethan had taken them to a quiet place. Eric hid close.

"How can you push your parents like that? How can you go against our wishes and continue your relationship with that woman?!" Nnenna said angrily.

"Mom, Dad, please. I know knowing Sienna's past is a very heavy thing to bear but Sienna is a good woman" Ethan said pleadingly. "just trust me."

"We don't want to trust you Ethan. All we want is that woman out of your life. A woman with such a baggage will only bring you down" Michael said firmly.

"Dad, Sienna has stood up for me many times. She has supported me and loved me with her heart" Ethan said, "I can't leave Sienna like you are asking for."

"So you are disobeying me once again" Michael said displeased.

"No, I'm just asking for some more time" Ethan quickly said. "Sienna is suing the media company so everything will be settled."

"And does that change the truth about her life?" Michael asked and Ethan didn't know what to say. "end things with her as soon as possible and find a better woman."
