When I'm with you, I feel safe from the things that hurt me inside.

Sienna hung up and began packing her things. She walked out of her office with her bag. She passed by Jane on her way to the elevator.
"Where are you going to?" Jane asked surprised.
"Home, I have something urgent to attend to. Please tell Ethan and Mr. Olayinka" Sienna quickly said and the elevator closed.
"Okay" Jane said unsure.
In Mr. Olayinka's office, Mr. Olayinka angrily scolded Ethan and Alabi for fighting and insulting a coworker. He put both of them under probation and let them leave.
Ethan and Alabi glared at each other as they parted ways and Ethan went to Sienna's office.
"She isn't around Ethan, she left" Debo said, as Ethan tried to open the locked door.
"She left? Where did she go?" Ethan asked surprised.
"Attorney Jane said she went home and that she looked in a hurry" Debo answered and Ethan furrowed his brows confused but let go of the door handle.
At Sienna's parents home, Sienna drove in and went inside the house. "Mom" Sienna said calling Amaka's attention and Amaka looked at her.
"My daughter, are you alright?" Amaka asked, looking relieved. She hugged sienna warmly.
"I'm fine mom, are you alright?" Sienna said, pulling away. "when you called me, I was so worried. You didn't go to the shop today?"
"No. With the whole chaos out there, I wasn't able to do anything" Amaka answered taking a seat and Sienna felt bad.
"What about your work? Were you able to go? I heard there was a little protest there" Amaka asked worried, gesturing for Sienna to sit.
"I was able to enter the office, I have...good friends there" Sienna smiled softly and sat next to her mom. She hesitantly asked, "what about dad and the company?"
"Your father has been taking it easy since the surgery but, since this matter cropped up, he had to rush to the company" Amaka quietly answered, "things don't look good."
Sienna sighed and clutched Amaka's right arm. She rested her head on her mother's shoulder and Amaka softly stroked her hair.
"I'm so sorry mom" Sienna apologised sincerely, "I was selfish, I was a coward. I should never have run away, I should stayed to convince you."
"It's alright honey, everyone makes mistakes" Amaka consoled lovingly.
"I really missed you when I left that time. I was so scared" Sienna quietly admitted. "I almost cried one day, and Thad comforted me. He was a patient man."
"I am sorry you had to run away to prove that we controlled your life" Amaka apologized in turn.
"I am sorry for being so immature" Sienna said, letting her tears drop on Amaka's shirt. She snuggled closer to Amaka.
"Is this an apology party?" Edafe said and Amaka and Sienna sat up in surprise.
"Edafe."
