Luci and Robin are simultaneously writing down notes of their U.S History class, Robin mouths, "Can this class go any slower?" Luci nods her head in agreement. She continues to write down the notes, when someone grabs her elbow. She looks behind her, it was Eddie, she smiles at him "What's up?"
Eddie hand her a flyer, "If you get done with your shift early, maybe stop by and see the band."
"I might."
"No pressure," he said giving her a smile.
The teacher cleared her throat, "Is there something you like to share with the class Miss. Henderson and Mr. Munson?"
"No, Mrs.Vernon," Luci said.
"Very well," she said turning back to the board writing lecture notes.
Luci and Eddie stifle a laugh quietly.

Her shift at the diner goes at an excruciating slow pace. It was about 6:50 when she checked her watch a minute ago. 6:51 Why so slow when I actually wanna do something?
"Luci!"Benny yells from the kitchen.
She quickly walks to the kitchen, "What's up?"
"It's so dead here, I'm getting so bored and probably you too. So let's just close up and we'll leave."

They finish closing up, and they depart. Luci reaches home, she discovers a piece of paper in her back pocket,

it was 7:15 as she checks her watch. She gets up and heads towards the shower to freshen up from the shift at the diner. By the time she done with her shower, it was 7:35. She takes her time getting dressed, Robin decides to call her.
