The Cuddle Pact with Eddie Munson

Luci wakes up in a unfamiliar room. She realizes what room she's in,Eddie's room. She looks over and see the Tylenol tablets and water gone that she set for Eddie last night. She slowly walks out of the room, which she hears Eddie sing You've Got Another Thing Coming by Judas Priest.

You're thinkin' like a fool cause it's a case of "do or die"

Out there is a fortune waiting' to be had

You think I'll let go? You're mad

You've got another thing coming

"You want some chocolate chip pancakes? It's my specialty," Eddie grins at her.

She looks so cute my with clothes on.

"How'd you know?My favorite," Luci beams at him as she sits down.
"There's OJ in the fridge if you want some."
Luci takes two cups and pours orange juice in the cups. Eddie was done making the pancakes, serving the both of them and setting the syrup in between them. Eddie sits next to her, he starts eating the food as does Luci there was quiet in the kitchen Eddie speaks up.

"How bad was I?" he wondered.

Luci finishes her bite, "Um Miles found me because you were asking,calling me Lu Lu. I drove you home, Miles followed me here with your van and he walked home. Then you stripped off your clothes and passed out."

"Oh um yeah not my best moment.Why didn't you leave?"he asked.

"I couldn't leave you like that.You could have choked on your vomit or something," Luci said concerned.

"Lu Lu is cute though," Eddie countered.

"Is that your nickname for me?"Luci chuckles.

"I think so Lu Lu."

"I'm giving you one to be fair."

"Of course," he said obviously.

"These pancakes are the best I've had Eds."

Eddie's heart swells at his nickname from Luci, "Thank you Lu Lu, I'm glad you like them."

They glanced at each other and laughed. Lu Lu and Eds made conversation off and on until his Uncle Wayne came in through the doors.

"You made those chocolate chips pancakes Eddie?"

Eddie looks like a deer in headlights, "Oh I didn't know you had company this early."

He wasn't suppose to home this early!

"Uncle Wayne this is Luci," Eddie said standing up.

"Is that the girl whose been tutoring you?"

Luci stands up and pulls out her hand,Mr. Munson doesn't shake her hand, "It's very nice to meet you Mr. Munson."

"You too," he says not looking at her as he walks towards the kitchen.

Wayne makes himself a plate of pancakes and asks Luci, "How long have you known Eddie?"

"Since this year because of my younger brother being in Hellfire."

He nods his head taking another bite of his pancakes, "Do you think it's his year?"

Luci nods her head, "Yeah he got an A on a quiz in Mrs. McDonnell's class."

"Really?" He said with slight sarcasm.

"What's your grade in that class?"

"Are you getting extra credit for this?"

Luci shakes her no. Wayne asks another question, "Why?"

"What are you?"

"What's with the third degree Wayne?" Eddie said,annoyed and getting mad.

"I think I've over stayed my welcome here," she said getting up.

"I think so," Mr. Munson said unmannerly.

Luci walks to Eddie's to grab her stuff and keys and Eddie follows her.

"Look I'm sorry about that," he sighs.

"It's okay,"Luci shrugs.

Luci was about to go and changed until Eds stopped her, "Keep the clothes.I'll walk you out."

They walk out from his room, Luci pauses and turns to Mr. Munson.

"It was really nice to meet you Mr. Munson."

"Yeah right," Mr. Munson said grimly not looking at her.

Eddie opens the door for her and walks to her car. Eddie turns to her and apologizes for his uncle's behavior.
"I don't know what was his deal was being like that."

Eddie pushes her hair away from her face, "I really am sorry."

"I know you are and thank you," she said smiling at him.
He returns the smile back, "I'll come by tonight around 7ish."

"Okay," Luci says feeling better from what Eds said.

Eddie opens the door for her and she thanks him as she starts her car.

"I'll see ya later Eds!"

"See ya Lu Lu!" he says as she pulls away and onto the road.

Eddie walks back to his home, kicking rocks in the process and he meets Wayne sitting on the couch.

"What was your deal?" Eddie questioned frustrated at his actions.

"I don't want you hanging out with her."

Eddie scoffed walking closer to him, "We're friends, it's hard not to she's my tutor."

"Find another one," Mr. Munson said in a clipped tone standing up.

"You know hard it was find someone to tutor me?Who sees me as a person and not as the town's freak."

"And why?"he questioned.

"Cause she's a fucking wetback!" Wayne yelled in his face.

Eddie steps back realizing what his uncle said, "Are you fucking kidding me?You fucking racist!"

Eddie walks back to his room grabs his keys and quickly walks out.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"We're not done yet!"

"Out!"

"Oh you bet I fucking am!"Eddie roared.

Eddie yells out before slamming the door, "Does it make you feel any better that she's mixed with white!"

Oof what do you think? I kinda put my perspective as someone who is of color and who lives in a small town that is predominantly white.And thanks you guys for voting, it means a lot!
