*1 week after the California trip*
Dustin and Luci were watching tv together, they saw their walk through the house.
"Hey mom!"
"Hey kids, I'm going to make dinner. I have some days off finally."
"That's great!" Luci said hugging her.
"You wanna go to store and get some stuff for dinner? There's nothing in here!" Claudia laughs.
"Can Eddie come by for dinner?" Dustin asked.
"Of course, I don't mind."
"Here's a list of what to get. Get dessert too."
"Okay, see ya in a bit."
"Be careful!"
"Do you wanna drive to the store?" Luci said walking down the steps.
"Do I?!"
Dustin excitedly runs to her Jeep and starts it. Ana laughs at Dustin's excitement gets into the Jeep and Dustin starts to drive.
"You're getting pretty good at this. I might just start having you drive me around," Luci jokes.
It was a somewhat short drive to the store. A look of impressive on Luci's face when she sees the Jeep in between perfectly in the white lines. Dustin tosses the keys at Luci which she catches as they walk in the store. They looked through the aisles to find what's on the list.
"Is that even here?"he said pointing at the listed item.
"That's on aisle 7," Luci said.
"Oh yeah I knew that."
Luci rolls her eyes as she pushes cart to aisle 7. Luci picks up the item. All the items on the list have been crossed off, "Now it's left with dessert."
They walk to the back of the store where the bakery is. Dustin and Luci both look and search for the best dessert for their mom.They wanted to get her favorite dessert since they know she works at all these crazy hours as a RN.
"Oh how about that one?" Dustin points at.
"Let's get that one."
They purchased the food and packed the grocery bags away in the trunk.
"Can I drive back?" Dustin asked.
"No, not today."
"Next time?"
"Sure," she says with walking to the driver's side. She starts her Jeep and starts to drive out of the parking lot. Luci turns on the radio and gasps as she turns up the volume. Dustin rolls his eyes from the music that was playing. The song that was playing on radio was Xandu by Olivia Newton-John.
When the Xandu movie came out, she fell in love with the movie. Later that year, it birthday came and her mom and Ita got her the Xandu soundtrack on vinyl and a pair of skates. She would skate to the store, around the house, and to school. And she played that album so much the record got warped. That's her favorite movie. Well any movie that has Olivia Newton-John starred in. She could watch that movie over and over again and won't be tired of it.
Luci drives towards a different direction, which means to Dustin that she's driving to listen to whole song.
"Come on Dustin, sing with me! Luci laughed.

"They called it Xandu," Dustin said not amused.
And now, open your eyes and see what we made is real!
We are in Xanadu!
A million lights are dancing and there you are a shooting star! Luci sang loudly until the song was over. She sang more loudly than usual to annoy Dustin. The song ended and Dustin was relieved that it was.
"That was great! I haven't heard that song in forever!"
The radio station played Dancing in The Dark by Bruce Springsteen. Which Luci and Dustin sang loudly together.
