I forgot to post ..
-
Today was Tuesday, my second day at school. Right now, I was standing by the gate, waving good mornings to all who crossed by me. I heard in a magazine that saying hello to as many people as you can daily makes you more likeable and friendly! To my side was Yoshida, who skimmed the crowd of students for a glimpse of blonde.

To be honest, I was too.
I wanted to walk into school with Denji, since I couldn't yesterday. I had been dreaming of my first day of school, and I had it all planned out in my head. At the very top of my dreaming list was to walk into class with Denji!

But...
He's so lazy...

Beside me, Yoshida began to shuffle and whip out his flip as he hummed.

Ah. How could I forget yesterday morning... Very embarrassing.

Not even going to lie, Denji gave me a bruise on my back with that door, but I wasn't going to tell him that. He'd be devastated, I even could imagine that little shocked face of his right now.

He's so silly.

"I'm going to go to class, (y/n). I forgot to turn in some work." Yoshida called beside me, his eyes angled toward his phone, squinting a little as he started to walk off. "Hey, I'll catch you later!" He yelled back to me, walking further and further away.

"Bye..." I called, but it fell on no ears.

Quietly, I sighed a little, my eyes finding the clicking of my shoes more interesting that greeting my classmates.

Denji where are you?
I don't want to be alone.

"Woman."
A raspy voice shot at me, and confusedly I whipped my head to the sound. Before me stood Mitaka, a terrible grin on her face. That grin, it was that same one from when I first saw her! Instantly, a sense of dooming fear stole my body, the hairs on my arm sticking up uncomfortably.

"Good morning, blessed day." I smiled stiffly, but she only blinked, her hands flying to my shoulders. "Wow, let me take a good look at you... You are very pretty! Pretty for a servant!"

"What." Gulping, my eyes squinted at her, unaware of my racing, frightened heart. I hated how she was talking right now, as if we knew each other before, or as if she knew about my service to the dream...

No.

She doesn't know. It was just probably some slang Denji hasn't taught me yet. It had to be.

"No wait..." Slowly, she stepped closer her hands cupping my cheeks. "You look! Just... You have to be her--"

Before she could even finish her sentence, a loud sound broke through our ears,
"Hiiiii-yah!"

A crash of a karate chop fell through our arms, breaking the two of us apart as a sly hand slide over my waist, pulling me deep into the person.

My eyes turned in surprise to the figure, and it was none other than, "Denji!"
I cheered happily, staring at him with intense glee. "(Y/n), good morin'! Mitaka... Get your paws off!" He barked, his finger ready to point viciously at her.

In an instant, Mitaka would shake her head, an anger parallel to his taking her face. "What! There you go again! Thinking you know stuff- Wait! In fact what are you trying to imply!" She spat, her finger readily pointed back at him.

Mitaka's back! And she's not being scary! Yay!

"Well I don't want you around, (y/n)! You're gonna make fun of me to her, and she doesn't need to hear any of that!" He yelled back, his wild, pointy teeth agape for all to see. I love his teeth so much. Awestruck, I stared into his mouth while he was distracted, a glitter growing in my eyes.

"Yeah well you don't get to make decisions for her! And I'll make fun of you all I want, perv! Walking seat! Loser!" She shouted, her hands falling to her sides. "Bipolar freak!" "What? Hey! You-"

"Guuyyysss... Don't be mad at each other please... It's too early for that," I whined, tiredly pushing my weight onto Denji's body. Tensely, Mitaka looked away, while Denji's fell to me. "Okay." He cheered, a smile dancing on his cheeks.

He's been looking me all strange like that since yesterday. Like he was melting butter, or entranced by a hypnotist. It made my heart flutter, and a flush to steal me. Though he has looked at me like this before, it felt so real this time.

Not materialistic, but genuine.

His eyes soon slipped down to glance at my lips, and my hand flew up to his back, gripping his shirt in embarrassment.

Not here Denji! I don't want my first kiss like this!

"Okay... Ew. C'mon, (y/n)," Mitaka shuddered. With a swift reach, she grabbed my freehand, attempting to pull me into the school with her. "Hey, no way!" Denji tightened his grip on my waist, his palm holding my hip securely. Flustered, I only stared blankly at the tug of war that was happening, a dizzy feeling in my head.

"I have to discuss very i-important things with (y/n)," Mitaka stammered out intensely, stealing a glance to the empty spot beside her. But before this could continue, the voice of a girl stopped the two dead in their tracks.

"(y/n)! Yuck, don't tell me these losers are giving you trouble? C'mere we'll walk to class together," Rui giggled. "Ah! Good morning Rui, Aiko, blessed day!" I stammered, a smile stealing my lips for a second. "You're so formal! We say, 'G'morning' here!" Aiko gasped beside her.

With eyes down to the floor, Mitaka let go of me, her teeth biting her lip with stress. Softly, she brought her head down, stepping away from me. Confused, I looked to her, but Aiko stepped in front of me. "You're even cuter today than yesterday!" She laughed, causing Denji to tense beside me.

"Well? Let go of her so we can go inside?" Rui spat, her face in a snarl. "Rui..." I mumbled, but Denji only grumbled and followed her command, allowing the girls to pull me away into the school.

Confused, I shot my head back at him while they pulled me, and he only pointed at Aiko, pulling his two fingers to his eyes.

What!
That possessive jerk!

A laughter hitched in my throat as I looked back toward the girls, my head shaking gently at his stupidity. A warm feeling stole my heart again, my eyes shying as I thought of his face.

These feelings were so weird and confusing.

Denji, why have you stole my mind?
