I wanna cry this book is coming to an end... It's been such a fun journey

-

"Gah! Dreamy!"
Sloppily, I pressed soft, fluttering lips straight into the splint that covered her left hand, cupping the elevated injury ever so gently. Her hand was all pulsated, red, and puffy, but it was attached.

I really managed to get it back for her!

It's been almost two days since that big devil attacked our school.

Almost two days since (Y/n) lost her precious, pretty left hand; and two days since her replanting surgery commenced. It was just only now did she stabilize enough for Yoshida, Nayuta, and I to see her! It was a successful operation, one that was described as "seamless" from the operating team.

"Look! Your hand's back!! Dream girl!" I cried.

I still remember seeing her for the first time through that little window.

Her hair was laid messily beside her, her eyes clamped close, mouth agape with snores, all while her hand was elevated up. She looked gorgeous, even while adorned in hospital rags. Yet, I couldn't stop the pang in my heart as I watched the sun glitter across her sleeping face.

I hope she wasn't in so much pain.

Man, I'm gonna marry this woman.

But now, here she is, half-way asleep but desperate in trying to have conversation. Although she was drowsy, and couldn't really articulate herself well, I could tell just how excited she was.

I still can't believe I did it!
I did do it!
She's got her hand back!

Oh, I forgot to mention!
Apair-antly —or however that word goes—the chop was so clean, and they thankful her arm didn't lose too much blood! I mean she lost a lot, but not fatally! I had to do a lot of blood drawing for her, but it'd let her suck my body dry if she ever needed it! I'm just gonna revive anyways.

Well...

The only main issue was,
"Waaahuu... Denji's the best..."

The shear amount of concussions she received.

She was lucky she didn't get coma-toes.
I learned that word from school.

Those dang wannabe devil hunters!
How dare they treat my dreamy like that! She deserves only the best hero while being saved, one that would never ever drop her; no matter if she begged me too!

"Don't kiss it too hard, it hurts..." she pouted.

"Gaah, okay."

Oh dreamy...
I love you so!

I mean, I'm totally getting giddy like a school girl! I haven't had a crush that felt like this! Like an actual, burning, true desire to be with someone in the entire world; in whatever ways I'm able!

She really was my dream girl!

"Oh (Y/n)!"
I sighed all breathy, unaware of how girlishly lovesick I sounded,

"I swear I'm gonna marry you... Y-You're like! You're my dream gi—"

Abruptly, I was pushed back a little, hobbling before falling right back into my seat.

"It's time for your aspirin, (L/n)." Yoshida butted in, physically and literally. He almost knocked me into the wall with how strong that push was! Unbelievable!

"Good news, you'll be ready to leave in four days more, they just need to surveil you for a few more hours... But you've got this, don't you my (L/n)?" A disgustingly sweet voice coed.
