Beckham's stunt have pissed her off to no end, but she was also embarrassed. All the promises she had made to let him go went out the window as soon as he touch her, and she was ashamed.

So she spent the night walking around, looking at all the elegant decorations. Listening to the soft chatter and laughter of the guest as she snuck off to a little corner were she could look at the floor to ceiling windows. A waiter came over to offer her a drink. Tommy almost refused him, about to tell him that she was underage until she caught sight of Beckham across the room behind the man.

The boy in question was talking to another man who looked to be a older, until Beckham felt eyes in him. His eyes scanned the room before landing on her. He smirked, winking at her and went back to his conversation. Tommy felt a heat of anger fall over her again and she accepted the drink. She grabbed the glass, gulping it down concerningly fast. She stopped the boy for walking away as she put the empty glass down and grabbed a new one, thanking the man who looked at her in worry.

She drank on this glass slowly however, not wanting to get too drunk. She tried to memorize the view of the city, the stunning night view was something she didn't want to forget.

"Drinking away your problems will only give you more problems." A voice spoke from behind her, making the girl jump in fright.

Beckham rounded her so he stood in front of her. The girl rolled her eyes as she took a sip of her drink. She also found it weird how fast he got to her.

"Excuse me if I don't take life advice from a sadist." She muttered as she walks away from him, only for Beckham to pull her back to him by her arm.

"Wait." He says, Tommy points a finger in his face from the hand that was holding her champagne glass.

"Out of respect for your parents, I won't pimp slap you in front of all these white folks, but don't push me Beckham." She spoke lowly, stepping close enough that only he could hear her.

"And stop touching me!" She snapped, snatching her arm out of his grip. "From now on keep your hands to yourself." She added causing Beckham to laugh at her words.

"Don't flatter yourself, sweetheart." He scoffed.

Tommy rolled her eyes as she walked away from him, feeling his eye on her as she left. She walked around until she found VonTay standing with Hugo at the buffet. Hugo was pointing at different food then would put the food on VonTay's plate. The younger boy had the biggest smile on his face as he nodded yes or no to whatever Hugo pointed at.

Hugo hated Tommy but he did treat the little one with care. As much as he wanted to be annoyed with them both, VonTay was always chipper. Hugo didn't know what it was like to have a younger sibling, but he enjoyed hanging out with VonTay.

Tommy walked up to the two, hugging VonTay to her waist as she also grabbed some food. She also snuck a few more glasses of champagne. By the time, she had finished eating she felt warm from the alcohol. She wasn't too tipsy, but she had enough of a buzz to get her through the night.

Mama A was standing next to her husband, talking with the wife of a business owner. The conversation wasn't her cup of tea, but for the betterment of her husbands business she played along. Though she couldn't help her eyes wondering over the room, taking account of where everyone in the family was.
