As Tommy sat in the airport at 4 in the morning, she couldn't help this nagging feeling in her chest. It had been there since NeNe and MayLin had come over the week prior to them leaving for New York. Something NeNe said was really making her feel flustered.

The terminal was pretty bare which was understandable. Tommy usually didn't mind being up this early, but the day of the trip, she was feel sluggish. Thankful she had pack everything a week in advance, so she didn't have to worry if she left something behind.

Looking across from where she sat, her father and little brother were cuddled close and fast asleep. Mama A and Uncle Kae were also fast asleep, uncle using Mama A's lap as a pillow. The flight didn't leave for several hours so most of the Im and Poe family were sleeping as comfortably as they could in the airport chairs.

On Tommy's side sat Beckham and Hugo. Hugo had a blanket over his face to shield the light as he rest on Beckham's shoulder. Beckham looked to be asleep, slouching deeply in the seat so his head was resting against the back. His hoodie was fully over his head covering his eyes and his hands were hind ding in his pockets.

A seat was in between Tommy and him. She said that the extra seat was to stretch out her legs, but she really just wanted space from him.

NeNe's words were ringing though out her mind, replying the same question over and over. She didn't want to think about it and being physically close to Beckham would only do the opposite.

She sighed deeply, knowing she would be able to sleep for a while. She stood up, careful not to wake anyone to go to the cafe for a cup of coffee. Just as she past in front of the sleeping brothers, a hand grabbed her wrist. She yelped quietly, stunned at the sudden action and tripped a little over Hugo's carry-on book bag.

She stumbled, her hand shot out quickly to use something to stabilize herself. That something also happened to be Beckham's knee. His hand was still wrapped around her wrist, his grip tightened around it just in case she fell.

"Where are you going?" He said keeping his voice low, as not to wake up Hugo.

The gruff rasp of his voice made Tommy flinch. She felt her hands begin to sweat at the feeling of his hand around hers. She cleared her throat softly before she spoke.

"I'm just gonna get some coffee." She said as she stood up.

She slipped her hand out of his slowly and he let her. His hand dropping to his lap as he took a deep breath.

"Alright, give me a minute." He muttered, moving a hand to steady Hugo's head off his shoulder and onto the seat.

"Oh no you don't need to come with me." She spoke quickly.

"Morrow, the cafe is out of my line of sight. I'm not letting you wonder around an airport at 4am." He said plainly.

Hugo's blanket fell to his neck as his brother adjusted him to lay down on both seats causing the boy to whine slightly at the light. Beckham pulled the blanket back over his eyes, straighten it so the younger boy would be comfortable.

Tommy watched as he tends to his brother with a fluttering heart. His tone may have sounded bland but he unintentionally let it slip that he cared about her well-being. Part of her knew it was because of what happened in the early days of her living with them. When she was followed by that guy and Beckham said that they'd go home together from then on.

But still, his words had touched her.

Beckham took a few steps away from the family, turning around and nodding his head for Tommy to follow him before continuing to the cafe.
