(Laurence's POV)
I snapped my eyes open and gave a sudden sleepy yawn. The minute I woke, I felt something very unfamiliar and uncomfortable about my surroundings, but due to my sleepiness, I couldn't figure what it was. As I was about to forget about it and close my eyes again, I heard a quiet humming sound and this alerted me. Someone else was in the room? But who? My mum nor dad ever came into my bedroom to wake me up on a morning, I'd go by my alarm.
Speaking of my alarm, I'd never actually heard it go off. Maybe it was earlier than I expected.

I rolled over to check the time, when I found no bedside table beside, or any clock for that matter. Okay, something was definitely different about my room.
"Morning love!"
This voice made me jump, but it sounded all too familiar for me to be scared. I warily looked up to find Kier sitting on the windowsill, a cigarette held between two fingers. Kier was here too?
"Where am I?" I asked, receiving a chuckle from the boy.
"Where do you think, idiot?" He chuckled. This made me confused, and also made me look round the room to familiarise myself where I was.
"Why am I still here?" I asked, suddenly panicking. I'd stayed the whole night at Kier's without realising? Oh, Jesus I was in trouble! Kier simply smiled before holding the cigarette to his mouth and blowing out the smoke as he put it back down.
"And we have to set off for school in an hour." Kier groaned, brushing down his school shirt.
"Wait, what am I going to do? I can't go to school in my own clothes!"
I know my clothes should be the least thing I should be worrying about, I still had one thing to do. And as I thought this, it sprung to mind why I'd come here. Why I'd kissed Kier.
"Luckily my mum buys two of everything." Kier said, smirking and pointing to his wardrobe.
"I can't wear your clothes, Kemp!"
Kier raised his eyebrows. "And why ever not, you're my boyfriend now, right?"
Guilt came across me as he said this, did he actually believe last night meant something? There was a complete reason for my actions, I had to suck up to Kier somehow to get the money off him for Drew!
"Err...yeah..."

C'mon Laurence, think of something!

I watched Kier thoughtfully as he threw the cigarette out the window and jumped down from the windowsill. He strode over to me and looked down to face me.
"C'mon Bevers, up now!" Kier ordered, smiling cheekily.
"Alright, chill out mum!" I answered sarcastically. Kier rolled his eyes, but he was still smiling all the same.

I sighed and sat up, ruffling my black hair as Kier went to his wardrobe.
"Do I have to go?" I whined like a small child. Kier chuckled. and rolled his eyes.
"Well I'm not going to leave you here am I?"
I whined again and pouted at Kier.
"You're cute, you know that?" Kier chuckled, pulling out a shirt and black trousers. He threw them to me, making me groan.
"Come on, Laur!" Following this, he blew me a kiss, making me giggle.

I stood up from the bed, receiving a clap and a small cheer from Kier.
"You proud of me now?" I chuckled.
"Oh yeah, very," Kier replied, sarcastically. "Want a reward?"

Now was the perfect opportunity! I'm not letting guilt rule me over.

"Actually there is one thing..." I said, making Kier raise his eyebrows.
"Oh really? What's that then?"
I couldn't tell if Kier was still being sarcastic or not, but I still needed to play along.
"Well...you know how I kinda stayed here last night?"
Kier nodded, looking impatient.
"I was meant to receive money from my mum today, but obviously I haven't seen her, and I was just wondering if-"
"You wanted to borrow?"
God, he could read me like a book. I nodded awkwardly, not wanting to look desperate. He wouldn't believe my little "story" would he?
"How much?"
Okay, he bought my story.
"About £25-£30?"
Kier's eyes widened, but he still chuckled. "Jesus, I thought you only meant a quid or something!"
I looked awkwardly at Kier, not knowing how to reply now. Great, my plan wasn't going to work, then I'd have to live with guilt for the rest of my days. Way to go, Beveridge.

But to my surprise, Kier sloped over to his small table and picked up a small tin, opening it carefully. I could do nothing but gasp as he pulled out two notes, a £20 and a £10.
"It's only because I love you." Kier smiled, placing the notes in my hand.
"Kier...thank you!"
Kier nodded and grinned. I leant down slightly and placed a kiss on his lips.
"I love you." I said, smiling. But as much as I smiled, all I felt was a wave of guilt.
