(Laurence's POV)
I'd spent half the morning looking for Drew, god knows where that boy had got to. It was now the start of break, and I hadn't seen Drew all morning. I just felt like if I didn't hand the money to Drew, I'd have to live with the guilt of using Kier until I did. Not that I wouldn't feel guilty anyway, because I already did.
"What's up, Laur?" Kier asked me, looking at me concerned.
"I still haven't found Drew." I mumbled, looking round the canteen for a hope of finding Drew.
"Laurence can I just ask, why are you so desperate to speak to Drew?"
I sighed and shook my head. "It's nothing really...I just do."
Kier raised an eyebrow. "You sure you're not keeping anything from me?"

Bless, his face looked so confused. If only he knew...

"Kier, I promise. Drew and I just talked and I just need to talk to him again today."
Kier nodded and gave me a small smile, but he still didn't look convinced, making me take his hand in reassurance.
"Laurence? Just promise me one thing..." Kier suddenly whispered. Oh god, this could turn into a big speech knowing Kier.
"What's that?" I asked, lowering my voice to Kier's, making us both giggle.
"When you speak to Drew...don't give him a cookie, okay?"
I gave him a confused look, but nodded anyway. Nearly anything Kier said didn't make sense, but you just had to go along with it. It made him happy, anyway.

The dreaded school bell soon rang, making me and Kier groan as we stood up and started to make our way to a next boring lesson.
"Thought you liked coming to lessons?" Kier joked, winking.
"Old Laurence did." I replied. Kier made an "aww!" sound, making me give him a confused look.
"What's so cute about that?" I chuckled.
"The way you say 'old Laurence'. It's cute!" Kier cooed. I giggled at the boy and shook my head. God, he was a strange child.

We soon reached Kier's classroom and had to say our goodbyes.
"Meet me out here okay?" Kier said, pulling me in for a hug. I nodded and hugged him back.
"Don't get into too much trouble, eh?" I chuckled. Kier chuckled along with me and nodded.
"I'll try."
I smiled at Kier again before saying "goodbye" for the millionth time before walking up the corridor to my classroom. It was quite a trek, I had to walk to the other side of the school to get there, but Kier had begged that I walked him to his class.

As I (finally) reached my own class, which was maths (yay! *note the sarcasm*) I felt a buzz in my pocket and saw my phone light up dimly. Who was texting me at this time of day, everyone knew I was at school. However, not trying to look obvious, I slipped my phone out my pocket and read the text.

Drew: Meet me at the alley in 10..

So that's where Drew had been all day! I thought to myself as I scanned through the text again. Great, this would be a chance to hand Drew the money. But how could I get to the alley to see Drew, it was school hours and it was simply impossible to escape during these times.

Me: How am I supposed to meet you when I'm at school...?

I tutted to myself as if the answer was obvious; I couldn't. How was I actually meant to walk out of school and to the other side of the town without getting caught?

I slid my phone back into my pocket before I got caught, phones weren't allowed in corridors which was, in my opinion, the most stupid rule of the school. And it was just in time, as my teacher opened the classroom door and greeted me with a smile.
"Laurence, first to the lesson I see! What a surprise!"
My maths teacher was so nice to me, it made me feel mentally sick. However, it's not a surprise, seeing as I used to be the teachers pet.

However, I still walked into the classroom and sat up to my desk, slumping my bag on the table and sighed.
"Everything okay, Laurence?" The teachers asked me, looking a little concerned. See, some teachers still weren't used to me "changing", usually I'd be happy to walk into any lesson.
"Yeah, why?" I muttered.
"You just seem a little...off. You can talk to me if you have any problems you know."
"Why would you think I have a problem?" I asked, feeling slightly offended.
"No, no, it's not that...I thought you just might-"
I suddenly threw my hand up in the air, causing the teacher to be cut off.
"Why does everyone in this bloody school think I have some sort of problem? Just because I've had a small personality change, everyone thinks I need mentoring or something! Well I'll tell you now, I don't have a problem whatsoever!"
My heart raced after I said this, and even the teacher looked in shock. Not once had I ever gone off on one with a teacher before. It felt strange to do it, but good at the same time. However, I still flashed a small, fake smile before putting my head in my hands. God, I really did need to get out of here.
