(Laurence's POV)
I felt quite uncomfortable walking to school with my "boyfriend", not to mention I was wearing his clothes (I know, weird right?).But nevertheless, I still clasped my hand round Kier's as we walked up to school.
"What's everyone going to think now?" I asked.
Kier shrugged. "I don't really care though." The boy leaned up slightly and placed a small kiss on my lips. I returned it, despite feeling guilty as hell. I was using my best friend for popularity. Now that's something that old Laurence would never do.
"Kier...?"
Kier looked up at my grinning. "Yes, Laurence?" He sang.
"This is going to sound quite strange to you, but I need to speak to Drew when we get to school."
Kier raised a perfect eyebrow at me. "Drew? Why...?"
"I just...need to tell him something. Alone."
Kier's breath hitched. "Alone...?"
"Don't worry, love, I'll be two minutes!"Damn, I was starting to give him nicknames now? What was next, proposing to him?
Kier nodded, but he still looked uncomfortable, making me slip my other arm round his small waist to reassure him. And of course, this made him smile again.
"What made you talk to Drew?" Kier asked.
"Well...remember last night I was walking down that alleyway to get to yours?"
"He was in the alley? What did he do to you?!"
I chuckled at Kier, he too thought that alleyways were a stereotype for something to go wrong.
"Nothing happened, we just talked!"
"About...?"
I let out another chuckle. "Nothing, stop acting so worried!"
Kier pouted. "It's only because I love you so much..." He muttered.
I smiled at the boy, letting guilt overflow me. "I love you too..."When we reached the school gates, we decided to subtly let our hands apart, not making it too obvious we were in a "relationship". Kier had been whining that it didn't bother him, and we should be proud to have a relationship like ours, but I'd said otherwise.
"We can tell Shane and Luke." I suggested.
Kier whined and pouted at me once more. "Okay..."
"Do you have any idea where Drew would be?"
Kier shook his head. "Haven't met up with him in weeks."Weeks. More like a few days.
Me and Kier were greeted by Shane and Luke themselves at the school gate, and Kier looked eager already to tell them the news.
"Subtle is key, Kemp. Remember." I whispered, making Kier giggle.
"What you giggling at?" Luke checked, raising an eyebrow.
Kier bit his lip and shook his head, his cheeks now going as red as his hair.
"Aww, Keveridge!" Shane chuckled along with Luke.
"Shut up!" I whined, nudging each boy in the arm. "I need to ask you all a serious question."
"Do we approve of Keveridge?" Shane giggled. I rolled my eyes and tutted.
"Apart from my love life, I need to ask you all a serious question."
Shane bit his lip to attempt to stop giggling, but failing. Despite this, I carried on.
"Do any of you know where Drew could be?"(Kier's POV)
I did feel quite offended that Laurence wasn't admitting that we were together, I expected him to be excited to tell them. But all he was bothered about was Drew.
Luke gasped. "He's trying to find Drew; Kier he's cheating on you!"
"No he's not! Are you Laurence?" I protested, making everyone except Laurence laugh.
"Ahh so you are together?" Shane said, raising an eyebrow. I didn't care now if Laurence didn't want to tell them, I wanted to.
"Yes, we are! We are together!" I suddenly shouted, receiving a few strange looks from other students. Both Luke and Shane's faces lit up.
"Guys, that's cute! Congratulations!" Shane smiled, hugging us both. Luke nodded in agreement. "Yeah, that's awesome!"
I grinned, looking up at Laurence, who was looking down at me. As you can probably guess, I was quite smaller than Laurence. Not as small as Drew, however. I gazed into Laurence's eyes for a moment before reaching up to kiss him once again, receiving "aww"s from both Shane and Luke. Most of the people around us were staring, some laughing and making rude comments, some simply scoffing and tutting. But I didn't care about those people, I loved Laurence, and it was about time everyone knew.I saw Laurence's cheeks go red, but he was smiling.
"I love you, Laurence. And now everyone else knows it."
Laurence gave me a warm smile and nodded. "I love you too, Kier. And you couldn't have let everyone else know in a more perfect way."But despite our little "moment", it was soon ruined by Luke and Shane making vomiting noises.
"Pass me a bucket!" Luke chuckled.
"You were saying we were cute a minute ago!" I protested, shaking my head.
"The way you gaze into eachother's eyes kind of made me change my mind slightly." Luke replied, drawing out the "kind" to show he simply wasn't a fan of Keveridge anymore. But I didn't care, I was certainly a fan of Keveridge. And now everyone knew about it too.(A/N: Hello! So this chapter is kind of a filter, and setting the storyline for a plot twist...coming soon...
