"Amiera your home!" My mother shouts happily.
My sister and mother ran up to me and hugged me tightly.
"Yeah" I said pulling away.
My father stands there looking cross, which made me look down at my feet and keep my mouth shut.
"Where were you?!" He boomed.
"I went to the Forgotten Forest and met a unicorn and a wolf man" I explained.
"WHAT!" He shouts marching over to me.
He raises his hand, which made me flinch and fall back on my butt.
"YOU SELFISH CHILD!" He shouts bringing his hand down.
I held my hands up and closed my eyes, but nothing happen and there were gasps.
"Princess are you okay?!" Ryker asks.
I opened my eyes seeing him in his wolf form and he was holding my father down with one paw, while he was looking at me with worry.
"Yes Ryker I'm fine thank you" I said with a smile.
He walks over to me and lets go of my father, he changes into his human form and holds his hand out to me, I happily take it. He pulls me up against his chest and nuzzles my hair, I smile and rub my face up against his torso.
"Amiera who is this?" My mother asks.
I pull away slight to look at my mother who was on her knees next to my father and had a shocked look on her face.
"This is Ryker and this is Hestia" I said as Hestia joined our side.
"What is that unicorn doing here?!" My father says.
"Hestia is here to make a peace treaty with me the soon to be queen" I said.
"Oh no your not being the queen after the stunt you pulled" My father says.
"AFTER WHAT I DID!? YOU LIED TO ME FOR MY WHOLE LIFE AND KEPT ME LOCKED UP BEHIND THE CASTLE WALLS!" I shouted breaking out of Ryker's hold.
"IT WAS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!" He says.
"FOR MY OWN GOOD?! ARE YOU BLIND?! KEEPING ME LOCKED AWAY IS JUST PREVENTING ME FROM LEAVING WHICH DOESN'T SOLVE ANYTHING" I yelled.
He suddenly goes quiet and I stand there heavily breathing.
"Ami?" Ryker says with worry.
"Rye" I said softly.
"You look like your about to faint" he says holding his hand out.
I take it and lean against him realising how tired I felt.
"Amiera" Hestia says coming up to me.
"Yeah?" I said.
"I can help you" Hestia says.
"With your magic?" I asked.
"Yes" Hestia replies.
I nodded and Hestia gently placed her horn on my head, She hums and I felt a change in my body.
"All done" Hestia says pulling away.
"Thank you" I said smiling.
Ryker pulled me in and kissed my lips gently before bring me into a hug, I hugged back and inhaled his unusual scent.
"Amiera" my father says.
I turned around and glared at my father, he walks over to us and I look up at Ryker who growls and stands further away.
"I'm sorry for what I said" he says.
"Yeah I'm sorry too" I said.
He smiled at me and hugs me, I pulled away and take a few step backs. I saw a look on my father's face that I didn't like and questioned what he wants to say.
"What is it father?" I asked.
"Well I'm sorry Amiera but we are not making a peace treaty with the unicorns because they killed off hundreds of us" he replies.
I snapped...
"KILLED OFF HUNDREDS OF HUMANS! YOU NEARLY KILLED ALL THE UNICORNS BECAUSE OF OUR FAMILY BEING GREEDY AND IM NOT GOING TO FOLLOW IN THOSE FOOTSTEPS!" I yelled.
He looked shocked and I was still glaring at him.
"Am-" he softly says.
"No I don't wanna hear it" I said interrupting him.
"I TOLD YOU THAT THOSE UNICORNS BROUGHT HELL ON THIS CASTLE AND LAND SO I KILLED THEM!" He explains getting angry.
"OH SO NOW ITS THE UNICORNS FAULT!" I said.
He drew his sword out and pointed it at my throat, I was shocked.
"So your going to kill your own daughter in front of our family" I said being a-little afraid.
"If that's what it's going to take to stop you" he says.
I opened my mouth to say something when Ryker came in and launches himself at my father, I fell back and watched the two fight it out.
"Amiera can I kill him?" Ryker asks pinning my father down.
Should he..? I mean my own father wanted to kill me so...
"Yes" I replied looking away.
I heard a scream of agony and skin being torn apart as I tried not to throw up. It was quiet and I could hear Ryker coming over to me, I look at him as he helps me up again and holds my head with both hands. I felt tears run down my cheeks and sniffled a little.
"Don't cry Ami" he says wiping the tears away.
"Thank you" I said smiling up at him.
"I always protect what mine" he says.
I blushed and giggled.
"Yes your my protector" I said putting a hand on his cheek.
"Always and forever" he says rubbing his nose against mine.
