"Move! Move!" Alex shouted, his voice strained as they sprinted down the elaborate hallway.
"Get the hell out of the way!" Max yelled, pushing past a stunned demon servant.
Lily, caught in the middle, stumbled and tripped with every stride. The towering heels she wore for the ball were an absolute menace, hindering her escape. She tried to hold up her long gown, but the heavy fabric still tangled around her ankles.
"Fuck this! Take those damn things off!" Max roared, stopping abruptly. He yanked off Lily's glittering heels, one by one, with surprising force, then flung them back at the pursuing guards. One of the spiked heels hit a demon guard squarely in the head, eliciting a surprised grunt. Without a pause, Max grabbed Lily's arm, pulling her along. "This way!" Alex yelled, veering sharply.
They burst out the front doors of the penthouse and into the chaotic, bustling street. The guards who had been manning the doorway immediately joined the pursuit, their heavy footsteps clanking ominously close behind. The street was a swirling river of demons and monsters, making it incredibly difficult to navigate. Lily spotted a darker patch, what looked like an abandoned building, and pulled them towards it, pushing through the heavy, creaking door and closing it softly behind them.
"Where did they go?" they heard one guard's muffled voice from outside.
"I think this way, follow me," another answered, their footsteps echoing as they continued down the bustling sidewalk. They all let out a collective breath of relief, leaning against the cold, dusty wall inside the derelict building. "I'm so happy to see you guys," Lily gasped, breathless but a genuine smile breaking through her exhaustion.
Max looked over Lily's outfit, his gaze settling on her very exposed cleavage. "Nice to see boob... you! I mean, nice to see you too, Lily!"
Alex immediately swatted him upside the head, making Lily laugh, a genuine, joyful sound.
They seemed to be getting along a lot better than the first time they met.
"How's your hand, Max?" Lily asked, concern etched on her face.
Max held up his hand, wiggling his fingers for her to see. It was completely healed, not even a trace of the bite mark. "One of the perks of being an immortal being is quick healing," he explained with a shrug.
Lily smiled, relieved her friend was okay after literally rescuing her. "Where's your necklace? How were those demons able to touch you?" Lily sighed, her smile fading as she looked down at her bare neck before meeting Alex's eyes. "My father literally ripped it off." Her voice was soft, laced with fresh pain. "You can't make me a new one, can you?"
Max shook his head, a frown creasing his brow. "No, I definitely couldn't make you a new one. I have nothing I need for that here."
"Thought so..." Lily whispered, but there was no point dwelling on it now. They had to get out of here.
"Okay, so I'm tired of Hell. Pull out that potion so we can get out of here already," Alex said, looking expectantly at Max. Max reached into his jacket pocket, his eyes widening in sudden alarm. He pulled his hand out slowly, letting out an awkward, high-pitched laugh that instantly put Lily on edge.
"Sooo, you want the bad news, or the really bad news?" Alex walked a little closer, his voice soft, worry filling his tone. "What's wrong?" Max pulled broken pieces of glass from his now damp jacket pocket, the shards glinting dully in the gloom. "The bottle must have broke when I fell earlier." He angrily threw the shattered glass across the empty room, the fragments scattering with a sharp clatter.
He looked up into Alex's eyes, an apology etched on his face. "I don't know any other way to get back."
Lily gasped, covering her mouth with a trembling hand. "Are you telling me we are fucking stuck here?" Alex whispered, his voice harsh with disbelief and rising panic. Max looked at him apologetically, his shoulders slumping.
Lily realized there was another way to get home, but it would require someone else's help. "I know how to get back home," she announced, her voice quiet but firm. Max and Alex snapped their heads towards her, their eyes wide. "Jinx can make portals between our world and Hell." Max let out a short, sarcastic laugh. "When we were looking for you, we went to find her. She reluctantly gave us Alistair's address, but she literally told me and Alex we are on our own. She won't help us..."
Lily threw her hands up in exasperation. What other option did they really have? They had to try, at least. Closing her eyes, she let out a slow breath before opening them, looking directly into Max's eyes. "It's our only real option. How did you guys find her the first time, because we need to find her again."
The boys looked between themselves. Max cracked his knuckles, a confident, slightly manic smile spreading across his face. "We got this."

"Ahh!!! Ahh!! Harder, Valentine!!" Jinx's screams echoed through the dimly lit space of her bedroom. She was on all fours on her bed, her back arched, as Valentine took her hard from behind. After their earlier run-in with that warlock and angel, Valentine had been furious with her for giving away Alistair's address. It had put both their lives at risk; they would probably have to go on the run soon. If the angel and warlock somehow managed to get Lily out of Hell, Alistair would undoubtedly come looking for Valentine and Jinx, likely to torture them for information they didn't even possess.
Both their packed bags already sat by her front door, but before they started running for their lives, Jinx figured makeup sex didn't sound too bad.
Valentine yanked harshly on her vibrant purple hair, his thrusts deep and relentless. He was so deep inside her, touching places no other creature had ever reached. She was so close, her entire body trembling on the verge of release. Her screams grew louder and louder, her nails digging into the bed sheets.
"That's it, Jinx, let it go, darling," Valentine murmured, his voice husky.
Laying her head on the bed, she closed her eyes tightly, feeling lightheaded. "I'm about to cu—" she could feel the orgasm building, cresting, when a voice, clear and distinctly out of place, cut through the sounds of their passion. "Umm, are we interrupting something?"
Jinx's eyes snapped open, and her body stiffened instantly, every muscle coiling tight. Her head whipped around, and her gaze, still clouded by pleasure's haze, landed on the doorway. Her breath hitched, a strangled gasp caught in her throat as her eyes widened to impossible saucers.
Standing there, silhouetted against the dimmer light of the hallway, were three figures: the golden-haired angel, the smug, irritating warlock, and to her utter, bone-deep shock, the girl they had just sprung from Alistair's grasp. Her cheeks, usually a subtle lavender, flared a deep, mortified purple that spread like wildfire down her neck. She didn't just jump away from Valentine; she practically launched herself across the bed, tangling in the sheets like a terrified animal, her heart hammering against her ribs, a frantic drum against her diaphragm.
"What... what the fuck?! How did you get in?! What are you doing in my house?!?" she shrieked, her voice cracking as she scrambled frantically under the covers, her hand instinctively grabbing for anything to throw. She pointed a trembling finger at them, her entire body vibrating with a mix of fury and pure, unadulterated shock.
"You really should learn to lock your windows," Max drawled, a smirk playing on his lips, completely unfazed.
Jinx let out an annoyed, guttural sound, baring her teeth at them, a furious demon trapped in an utterly humiliating moment. Valentine stood still, completely naked, not a bit of shame on his face. He simply walked to the corner of the bed and sat down, his engorged dick still proudly on display.
"Could you put some clothes on? And do something about that thing," Lily said, her voice strained, pointing to his very hard, veiny erection. Valentine simply smiled, leaning back on his hands, his eyes twinkling as he looked at her. "Or you can come over and do something about it." Alex saw red. The words had barely left Valentine's mouth when Alex surged forward, his hands clenching into fists. "What the fuck did you just say? I'll make you eat your own teeth, bastard!"
Max quickly held him back, struggling to restrain the furious angel. Jinx rubbed both hands down her face, groaning, literally dying of embarrassment.
Valentine simply winked, standing back up, grabbing his clothes off the floor. As he sauntered towards the bathroom, he glanced back at Lily, winking one last time.
"I hate that guy," Lily heard Alex whisper, as Max finally let go of his arm. They all turned, looking at Jinx, who had her arms crossed, her face a thundercloud of irritation.
"What the hell do you want?!?" she snarled.
