Special - Tankhun/Tem contd.

Pete went over to pick up Venice from Khun's house. "Your kid is so smart, why don't you let him stay over and you can have a good time with that nasty husband of yours!" He said. It was obvious Khun was lonely and given that Arm and Pol were together now, he just felt left out.

"Hey, Chay was saying there's a party at Yok's why don't you go?"

"What am I, 17? Please, I am too old for this."

"Hey, You dressed me up like an emo thirteen-year-old and sent me to a college party! This is much better."

"But Pete, I am not into stuff like that and you know..."

"You need to go out somewhere... Hey um actually I forgot, Venice's school is having something like bring your parent to the school, and Vegas and I have some really important meeting that day. Only Kim is free but he doesn't really vibe with my kid."

"Oh... Alright, I will go, only because I know Kim may fry Venice and we can't have that. Just let me know the timing and I will take care of everything."

"Of course, thank you so much!" He said and walked out of the house, Venice looked up at him and asked, "pa why did you lie?"

"Adult stuff baby, don't you want to meet lily?"

"Hmm ok. But you should get me candy from the amusement park!"

"SHUSH!! If you act well that day, I will get you whatever ok?" Pete had organized the perfect date for him and Vegas. Obviously, that meant they weren't going to leave the bedroom until Venice came back. He told Venice that they would be at the amusement park instead.

On the day ~

Tankhun dressed up neatly that day, he paired a blue vest with a white undershirt and khakis. He also wore some necklaces and his black boots, but this was pretty minimal for a flamboyant guy like him. Maybe on some level, he still feared that he would be judged.

He picked up Venice and they both went to the amphitheater. "Oh hello! Venice, go to your group and set your station ok?" His teacher guided him to his seat, she was probably 25-26 pretty cute and small. "Summer" Her name tag read. "Um, I am new here and I have met one of Venice's dads, Pete, So you must be Vegas right?"

OH Hell NO! Tankhun felt offended on various levels. "Nuh-uh, no way, please do not associate that name with anyone."

"Alright, so who are you, sir?"

"I am Tankhun Theerapanyakul, Venice's uncle." He shook hands with her and she guided him to the parents' seat.

"Sorry I am late!!!!" A tall and handsome guy wearing a beige suit and slicked hair ran to the teacher with his kid. Upon seeing him Khun's eyes lit up. To his luck, the guy sat right next to him and was panting.

Tankhun opened his hydro flask and handed it over to the guy. Without even thinking he drank what was in and looked at Tankhun with disgust,

"Excuse my language but what the fuck is this?" He whispered, "Healthy water! I saw you were panting, this has lemon and stuff in it, really good for you!" He smiled wickedly.

"Wait... P'Tankhun?"

" Do I know you?"

"It's me, Tem! From school... I was in your sister's class."

"Are you one of her exes?" His eyebrows moved closer.

"NO no..." Tem didn't know what to say. He was visibly confused as to why Tankhun was here in the first place.

Tankhun didn't remember him at all, not in the slightest but now that he had a good look at Tem, he wished he did. "Anyway, is that your younger sister?"

"Haha, do I look that young? She's my daughter."

Hearing that Khun was a bit disappointed, not that he was going to make a move but now he knew there was probably a woman in his life.

The event started and the announcers started talking about what the games are and stuff. Apparently, it's a bonding activity for parents and students. Tem leaned towards Khun and whispered, "Are you a single dad too?"

Khun was surprised and turned to Tem's side coming very close to his face. Khun removed his sunglasses to see him properly and Tem moved back to his seat shyly, breaking eye contact. "I am babysitting Vegas's kid."

"Oh! You're with Venice? Lily is friends with him."

"Ah...." Khun smiled, he was oddly happy from this news.

They went to play games with the kids. There were races, group games, and even twin races where Khun had to run tied to Venice. Given Khun's competitiveness, he gave his all to every game.

For the sack race, the last two competitors were Tem and Lily along with Khun and Venice. If they won this they would win some trophy and Tankhun wanted it.

Khun knelt down and said, "Venice, this is it! We NEED TO WIN! Here, Hi-Five" On the other side Tem was hyping up lily too. "Let's beat their sorry ass."

"But I like Lily."

"I like that dude too, but put it aside for now ok."

It was a relay race and the parents went first, then the kids. Khun went crazy and ran well hop in this case for his life. He reached much before they could and handed the baton to Venice. When Tem reached Lily Khun gestured a 'you're dead' sign to him.

Venice seemed like he was winning but he stopped at one point. When he turned back Lily had fallen down. So Venice Ran to lily and helped her up. and they walked to the finish line together, hand in hand.

Tem and Khun rushed to the kids. Luckily Khun had some bandaids in his bag so they got Lily's wounds cleaned and bandaged. "All done! Now, who's a strong girl?" Khun asked her and lily curled her biceps, "ME!!!" Khun fist bumped her and got up.

"Thank you so much, Venice! Lily, say thank you to Venice and uncle Tankhun."

"Oho! No need for formalities! I will buy you all the ice cream, my treat let's go! Hold hands, everyone!"

Tem pointed to himself, "Me too?" Khun took his hand, "Well, you need to be an example for the kids right?" The four went to the ice cream store and well the rest is history.

"So the matchmaking worked." Macao sighed as he watched all the couples in the Sunday brunch, Kim and Chay playing music somewhere, Arm ad Pol cooking, Tankhun and Tem looking after the kids, Pete watching the kids and Vegas watching Pete, and of course, Phairoh dropping her stuff or herself and Sinn bridal carrying her for no reason. 

"Want us to help you?" Fai asked, "Nah, single for lyf bro!" he extended his fist but sadly no one bumped it.
