Chapter 6

~Pete POV~

I Brought Venice to the office with me and he sat next to me at my desk. "This is where papa works ok? Be on your best behavior" I warned him. He nodded back and started playing with his toys. I had brought some to keep him company. "Tring Tring." my phone rang, it was Vegas.

"I am upstairs, you can leave your kid here with my brother." He said. I lifted up Venice and we went up. "Papaa, I want to go back to elder brother, Chay!!!" He cribbed. "No Venice, today you have to be here, I will be back in an hour." "Promise?" sigh, "Promise!" We interlocked our pinky fingers.

I knocked on Vegas's door and someone else opened it. "Macao? You're Chay's friend right?" I asked. What is this kid doing here? "Haha, bro, it was your kid? What's up Venice?" He gave high fives to Venice and my baby was so excited he ran and hugged Macao. "When brother said his secretary's kid I thought it was some really hot lady!" 

"I am not hot?" I replied. HE looked me up and down and chuckled. "Ok P' You are really hot ahah." 

Macao and Venice always got along well whenever Chay used to babysit him. But seriously what is he doing here.

"MACAO! WHY WOULD YOU ADJUST THE AC YOU LITTLE SH- Hey PETE. I see you've met my brother...." Vegas said. Wow, what a small world huh. 

"Yeah. Macao I can't let you do this for free, when we meet next time I will get you something." "Nothing to worry about brother, Vegas is paying me by the hour" he whispered into my ear. Vegas frowned at Macao but Macao didn't seem to care.

"Shall we go down?" Vegas said and both of us went for the meeting.

"By the way which investor is this?" He asked. "It is the CEO of Queens." "NO! NO! NO WAY!!! When did she come back?" 

"I'm not sure but her secretary told me to set up a meeting so I did. Is something wrong?"

"No...." He trailed off. He looked like he was panicking but I am not sure why. Well, the obvious reason would be, that the CEO is his cousin but it can't be that bad right?

Before she walked in Vegas sat next to me and started fidgeting. He looked like a little kid being scared of a bully. He shook his legs and then started pacing back and forth. Why is he so tense.

The door opened and a tall lady walked in. She was well built and she looked flawless. She had bold makeup on, a black blazer, and a black satin shirt. She also accessorized well. The choker she was wearing was on my wish list for a long time, it's worth thousands. What would I expect from a CEO of the biggest law firm in the country anyway?

"BROTHER" she opened her arms for a hug. Vegas looked clearly uncomfortable but he went in for it anyway. She looked very happy to see him. "Ms. Sinn, it is lovely to have you here, what exactly do we have to talk about today?" I asked. I knew Vegas was too nervous to speak.

"Oh don't worry it's nothing, I loved the idea for the new launch so I came here to congratulate you guys!" She grinned. "When did you come back?" "Now. I didn't even go to elder brother you know? The first thing I did after I landed was come to see you!" She said.

"Why did you come back? How about your US firm?" "Too hectic. Every now and then there is some case, I literally hate it. I appointed someone from my class as their manager and came back. I want my sedentary life back you know. " Sinn graduated from Harvard law school. So it makes sense why she has that "I'm above all of you" aura.

"Ok... where are you going to stay?" "I was thinking, here!" I looked at Vegas's Pale face. It got even paler. Poor guy. 

"Sinn this is a guy's house! You can't stay here!" He said.

"Shush! I'm your elder sister, besides I'm more guy than you anyways." Ayyyyy if this was what she wanted to talk about why am I here? I could've gotten ice cream with Venice. I facepalmed and just stared into space. "By the way Pete how is life? Last time I saw you was like four years ago I think? How's your son?" 

Sinn helped me out with the legal stuff for Venice's kidnapping. She was my attorney throughout but back then 'Queens' wasn't as big as it is now. But that case sort of blew up the firm and her reputation. Since then Sinn has always been nice to me because my case brought her to where she is. 

"Venice is fine. He is upstairs." "Well, why don't we meet the little guy huh?" Vegas rolled his eyes and all of us went upstairs again.

Macao was busy feeding Venice food when we walked in. "Macaooo my man" "Sister?" He was so surprised he almost fainted.

He ran to hug her. "Oh my god, how was the US??? Tell me everything!" He said. "Aww, I wish Kim would be as excited as you are when he sees me." // Kim is her younger brother.

"They all sat down at the dinner table and Sinn tried making conversation with Venice. Back then Venice got along with her but now he started throwing a tantrum. "I want Phairoh auntyyy!!!! " he screamed. 

"Sorry Sinn I don't think he recognizes you." 

"It's alright lol. We will end up getting along like before" She tried to fist bump him and he turned away his face. I tried to cover my giggles so hard. 

"Um if the meeting is over, I'll take my leave. I need to put him to sleep." I said. "Yeah, sure!" Sinn said. Vegas's eyes looked like he wanted me to stay. Awww, I don't even know why he hates his sister so much. She is actually really fun to hang out with.
