"Professor Oobleck?" This... This is our genuine Huntsman!?
Ruby's dad is probably better than this!
"It's Dr. Oobleck. I didn't earn a PhD for fun." Right, of course...
"Come now, children. According to my schedule we are already 3 minutes behind." I sighed.
"Gimme your stuff..." They handed their bags to my Stands, making me carry them to the aircraft.
"Baggage will not be necessary for this mission, Mr. L/N." Oobleck said, very speedily coming up next to me.
"Don't sweat it, I've got a plan anyways. They'll stay on here." He pondered for a second, then said he'll allow it so long as they don't get in the way.
I grabbed small portions of the bags, tearing a small shred of them all and putting them in my pocket.
For safe keeping and all.
---------------------------------------------------------
Never this high up without hopelessly falling back down before.
Although I guess that thing I rode here did also fly, but that was thing was more of bus than a... Whatever these are called.
I also don't have to hang onto something to make sure I don't fall out.
"Mountain Glenn." That may be the first and only thing I'll be able to pick out from this flight, being that the wind is suppressing all sound.
Mountain Glenn... That was the uh... What was it...
Vale expansion! That's right, it was overrun with Grimm and got closed off from everywhere on the ground.
Now it's just an empty and broken down cityscape, perfect for a secret hideout.
And here it is, we hovered over a parking garage, I let go and dropped down, unfortunately breaking through the top level.
And the next, and the next.
"Damn..." I groaned, concrete rubble falling into me in pieces, a sickle on a chain hanged down, "Thanks, bro..." I placed my hand on it.
Being hoisted back up by the team, "Sorry, didn't think it'd be this run down." Something in Downtown Vale would take an Impact and still stand.
One Low Impact here would level the city.
Zwei trotted up to me, licking my face, "I'm alright, thanks."
Hold on.
I didn't take Ruby's bag, she... "Snuck Zwei here." I said in a disappointed tone.
Although Oobleck doesn't seem to opposed to keeping him around, spouting a bunch of stuff about dogs.
Very poorly masking his biased love for them.
"So, Doctor." He stopped, looking down at me, "I take it well be tracking them down?" He cleared his throat, agreeing.
"Well, I've got a little thing for it." Crazy Diamond reached into my pocket, fixing the scraps id torn.
The bags flew down at us, slowing down as they connected once again, "Ah, Yes. Most impressive, but in what way will this help us exactly?"
Oh he'll see.
I sorted through the bags, "Should be here..." I know I left it on the...
"Boss." Trigger put his hand in my shoulder, "You were wearing your bag when you did this, weren't you."
Well yeah, of course I-
"Damn it!" I fell to my knees, Trigger patting me on the back, "What's his deal?"
