"Urgh..." I gripped my stomach as we walked through the dead woods around us. Last night while we were doing the usual turtle hopping thing, I lost control of my Stands.

It was brief, but in just a second we were all falling through the air. It was... Nearly bad.

Travis injured his leg and is limping, but we've had to walk the rest of the way so far. Luckily for him he's got me to carry him.

In other news, we've found a crossroads that lead to Mistral. Bad news is that the direct path is through the mountains, so only a few people can make it through that way.

The rest of us will have to go through this other town marked on the signpost, Kuroyuri.

"With how things are looking for the kid, he'll need any help he can get with that leg." Why'd this have to happen now... C.D could heal this so easily.

My healing doesn't even work right now either, "Lightweights take the mountain. The rest of you will take on that village." Qrow decided that He, Nora, Ren, Ash, and Ruby will take mountain path.

The rest of us will take on the village. It's likely there'll be Grimm there, so our best people will need to keep Trav safe.

He's not gonna die from a broken leg, but I'd rather not have him make it any worse.

If they all make it to Mistral then they can send back help, if not then they'll get a better lay of the land to see if an actually still running village is in the area.

"Ren, Nora..." Jaune spoke in a low tone, he held out his arms for a group hug, "Please be careful." I looked at Ash, she was nervous about not being with us.

"You're a tougher girl now. If you have to, close your eyes and act like we're there with you." She looked at her brother hanging on to my back.

"You're stronger than you know, Lyn..." He muttered as we decided to go, leaving them to go their own way forward.

Jaune and Sid took the lead, the former seems to be really worried about his team, even with everyone else.

"Feeling light..." My arms opened up, showing me that my Dust was almost all used up, "I should really hunker down and switch to crystals when we get there." Trigger grabbed the bottle and replaced it.

Sid pointed out some tracks along the trail, they look like hoofmarks. Some Grimm horse maybe...

After some quiet but vigilant walking, we came across the town. To say it's in ruins... This place is dead. It's like I can feel eyes looking at me from every direction.

"Anywhere here look like a pharmacy?" It's hard to tell. All of these buildings look the same. "Hey Jaune, about Ren." Travis mentioned how he seemed hesitant when he saw the town name on that sign.

"He was adamant about not splitting up before whenever we came to a crossroads, but he didn't make a peep at this one. Any idea why?" Jaune sighed, saying he had a pretty good idea.

When Ren and Nora were kids, they lived here. Nora was a street rat and Ren was the son of a Huntsman, "I'm slowing you down... Set me down over there."

I gently set him onto his feet, "Gghh!" He sucked on his teeth, wobbling for a second before he leaned onto the tree for support.

"C'mon... Who's there..." I touched his leg, but still nothing... "Someone... Harvest?" Maybe due to its size difference, a few little bugs manifested in my hand.

"Can you go find some medicine for his pain." They ran off, leaving us all to go find some ourselves. At least until we hear some noise, a wild call.

Its far off, we'll be okay for now. "Ren and Nora are still out there." Jaune muttered. I stood back up and sighed.
