Chapter Thirty-TwoPromises after promises after beautiful promises of saying, "you and I are forever!"
Cameron and I have been doing so great that the word great itself can not describe how much I am living my best life right now. There is always a saying that goes like this: "Boys are a distraction and can pull your mind away from what you want to achieve in life if you fall in love too deep."
Well,Rabbi's of broken hearts club,my relationship and life is going great, thank you!
My days of still keeping my relationship from my mom is still going on but I'm handling it pretty well.
I study, ace my fucking tests and Ma still hasn't found out that I'm a girlfriend to the boy she dislikes but of course Lubemba caught me talking and flirting over the phone with Cameron that she felt betrayed I hid this secret from her for a month but don't worry.
My sister is the best that she kept my secret because that's what sisters do. Though with a disclaimer of saying, "If mom finds out,I know nothing about your mess."
I promised her that I'll be extremely careful. I always have been. I just need to continue faking my innocence to mom and just make her proud by doing my best in school.
Right now, Cameron has his hand cupping my neck and holding me close as we kiss in his car and I have my hand tagging onto his oversized leather jacket feeling ecstatic about what's happening right now.
Instead of having lunch, we're making out. No big deal because we're in a relationship so things like this are expected.
Cameron's phone suddenly rings making him cut the kiss to answer the call.
I groan in annoyance.
"Sorry babe, let me just answer this," he says and he takes out his phone from his Jean back pocket to answer the call.
"What now?" He asks the person he's talking to on the phone and I just sit there tying to figure out who it is he's talking to.
"I told you already that I don't want to do anything with you anymore. Geez, just tell me what you want?" Cameron speaks up rudely to the person he's talking to over the phone.
Could it be Jelena?
Or maybe one of his exes.
"No! I told you that I don't want to do anything with you anymore. We aren't friends,Jelena!" Cameron finally confirms my speculations that he's actually talking to my enemy.
