Saturday, November ninth. Exactly a week since the car accident. Today is the funeral. I just got done putting on my mom's favorite black dress.

I take a deep breath before lighting a joint. I took a few hits while I studied myself.
"Mind if I hit that?" Gareth asked. I turned to him, and offered it to him. Eddie walked in behind him.

He walked over to me, and hugged me tight, kissing my head after.
"You look beautiful babe. Mom would love the dress choice. It was her favorite." He said with a smile. We all finished the joint in silence.
"I guess we better get going." I said emotionless. Walking out of the room. We rode in silence to the funeral. I was going to speak, and my mind was racing. I have something prepared, but NO words are good enough to define my mommy, and all her greatness. My eyes began to burn as we pulled up to the funeral home. Eddie's hand squeezed my thigh three times before he got out, and came to open my door to help me out.
"I love you too." I said.
I stood between Eddie, and Gareth with our arms linked as we walked in. Hundreds of people were here. My mom, and dad were both born, and raised here like many of the people of Hawkins. Not to mention all the people from her company that flew out here.
My cheeks hurt from the forced smile glued to my face as we slowly but surely made it to the front pew. Being told sorry for your loss by every person we passed. We took our seat, with Jeff, and Tripp there with us. Behind sat the kids, and their family. I looked up, and saw the picture of both of my parents on display.
